Raven's Life Revealed (Teen Titans, Attack on Titan)

Chapter 7: Attack!

Five years have passed, without a Titan incident. Today, was graduation. Tonight, the people able to join the RP(Royal Police) would be announced. Not many talked about it, because only the top of the class could make it into it.

As the day passed, there was celebration, cheers, and some cries. Others were sad because they knew they wouldn't make it to the top ten, and they were afraid of that. APs and FFs encounter Titans if or when necessary, FFs more than the APs of course. The SCs, only the smartest and the brightest could make it there and they worked alongside the FFs, putting their lives in danger just being near them. And as said before, only the top ten of our class can make the RP.

Finally night came, the instructor called us all to the place where we were all initiated. We lined up in random places, and then waited until the instructor was ready. "All right, you brats! Listen up! The following people, come and stand in the order that I call your damned name!"

He looked at the paper and sneered, "Well what do you know? Rachel Roth, you first!"

I walked up to the front and stood, back straight, hands by my side. Ignoring everyone else, and just stared straight ahead.

"Next! Meghan Leohart! Third, Liam Jacobo! Fourth, Logan Henderson! Fifth, Erik Sato! Sixth, William Hughes! Seventh, Mason Conant! Eighth, Nikki Langston! Ninth, Ethan Reed! And finally, tenth, Adam Macke! Look straight at them cadets! These are the top of you class! The ones able to join the RPs!"

I didn't look over to the others, I was just glad that Erik had made one of the top ten. I had hoped for Luna as well, but she wasn't much of a fighter, she was an academically genius. 

"Alright, then! Let's talk your choices. As you know, there are the Azarathian Police, defenders of the walls and the people within them. There are the Survey Corps, the smartest people get in there, but they also fight along side the Freedom Fighters, which is another option. The Freedom Fighters are responsible for outside the walls expeditions, they fight to gain land and make it safer outside these walls. And finally the Royal Police, they get to be ordered around from His Majesty directly, but only the top of your class can make it into that regiment. So start thinking! Tomorrow, we'll hear your decisions and you will be taken to your regiment! Dismissed!"

We were all in the cabin where we ate our lunch. Most were scared, and sad that they could get into the RPs, simply because they have the advantage of living in the very center, probably the safest place to be, until the Colossal and Armor Titan reappear of course. 

Erik was talking to a boy who seemed nice and pure. He was congratulated him for being in the top ten. He tried to say something to me, as well, but I dismissed him with a simple thank you. I don't mean to be harsh, but I didn't want to speak.

"It's amazing. Without a doubt, you're joining the Royal Police, right? You're so lucky." The boy-George- said, wonder filled his eyes.

Erik shook his head, "No, not really. I had my head on the FFs, and that's where I'm joining."

George looked at Erik like he was crazy, a moment later he shouted it out loud. He had caught the attention of everyone there, so now they were looking at the scene in front of Luna and I.

Erik gave a short chuckle, "Yeah, I know. So what? Just because people think we don't have a chance against them, doesn't mean we don't. We've been training for this for the past three years, and we're more than ready. Who cares what the others say, what matters is if we believe hard enough to get to see the outside world, then we'll be able to accomplish it. It doesn't matter if you're afraid, as long as you got the courage to fight, then you can save people. Save humanity from those bastards!"
