"Robin! Robin! Wake up!" Little John tried to wake Robin up by shaking him and whispering loudly into his ear so he wouldn't wake up Marian.
"Little John, it's the middle of the night. What are you doing up? Has something happened?"
"Robin, we're supposed to go to the Mills farm to steal a dress, remember?" Little John said irritably.
"Oh, right, sorry Little John." Robin got up trying not to wake up the sleeping Marian and walked out of his tent. They walked together through the woods in the dark with the only light being the moon and the stars. "It's a beautiful night out isn't it Little John?"
"It sure is, but I would much rather not be seeing it because I would like to be asleep. So can we please get in and get out as fast as possible so we can go back to sleep?"
"If you wouldn't have stayed up all day and not gone to sleep at all you wouldn't be so tired," Robin said laughing.
"I guess you're right. I'll stop whining."
"Look Little John! There is the Mills farm!"
"Keep your voice down, Rob, we don't wanna wake them up! We definitely don't need to get caught in this robbery!"
What the two men didn't know was that Cora and her daughter, Regina, were still awake. Regina and her mother were arguing about Regina marrying into royalty.
"I have spent all of my life trying to let you have a chance of living as a queen! I will not just stand by and let you live as a widow for the rest of your life! It isn't even your life anyways!" Cora shouted.
"Mother! It is too my life, and I don't want to marry a king. Please don't make me! Don't you love me?" Regina asked with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Of course I love you! That is why you are to marry a king! You foolish girl. You don't know what will make you happy, but lucky for you I do. I will find you a proper king and you shall marry him! That is final!"
"No mother! I am in love with someone else!" Regina thought that since her mother said that she loved her that she might consider the possibility of her marrying the man she was in love with.
Cora stared at her,"Who are you in love with?" Cora actually asked the question kind of calm-like. Regina thought that maybe she really would agree and let her marry him.
"His name is Daniel," Regina smiled at his name,"He is our stable boy. He is no king, mother, but I love him!" Cora smiled at her daughter.
"Let's go have a little talk with Daniel. Maybe I will consider this marriage after I have a talk with him." Regina looked very shocked.
"Really mother?"
"Yes my dear!" Regina didn't even care that it was still the middle of the night. She was so excited that her mother might actually let her leave with Daniel by her side. She had dreamed of living a happy life with Daniel ever since they admitted that they had feelings for each other. They entered the stables and saw Daniel almost asleep.
"Daniel!" Regina shouted. He shot up instantly.
"What is it my love?" He looked behind Regina and saw Cora. He instantly feared both of their lives. "Oh, please don't hurt Regina! She doesn't have feelings for me! I only have feelings for her. Let her live and punish me!"
"Daniel! It's okay! I told her about us and she said that she wanted to come talk to you. She said that she might let us get married after all. Go talk to her Daniel!" Daniel walked up to Regina and kissed her on the forehead. Then he walked past her and bowed before Cora.
