He started off as a good man.  He stole from the rich and gave to the poor with his friends; they were called the merry men.  He even found love with a woman named Marion.  This man's name was Robin Hood of Locksley.

Robin and Marion loved each other a lot; then Marion became with child.  A few weeks after they had learned they were with child, Robin went hunting with his merry men like every other day.  "Let's split up men.  We can cover more ground and kill some more meat this way."  They all split up, and about five minutes later Robin spotted a buck a little ways down the path.  He held up his bow and clipped an arrow on it.  Just as he let his arrow fly towards the huge deer's shoulder, a puff of smoke appeared.

"Hello dearie!" the man that appeared out of the smoke said.  He held the arrow in his hand.  Robin was stunned, for he had never seen a man that looked like this before.  He could tell that this man wielded magic just by the way he looked.  "Do I look that ugly?  I thought I was a sight for sore eyes!" the man cackled.

"I'm sorry but I don't think I caught your name," Robin stated.  He had held out his hand for the man to shake.  The man just stared at it and laughed again.  He hit Robin's hand away and bowed.

"Well that's because I haven't thrown it to you yet, dearie!  The name is Rumplestiltskin."  Robin gasped without meaning to.  "So I guess you've heard of me?" the Dark One laughed.

"What are you doing here, Dark One?"

"Dark One, huh?" he laughed "I would like to make a deal with you.  If you don't do as I say I will destroy something of yours."

"I don't have anything of value, so what would you like?" Robin asked.

"I would like for you to steal from a woman named Cora Mills."

"That sounds right up my alley.  I always steal from the rich and give to the poor," Robin said proudly.

"Yes, yes I know," the Dark One proclaimed," That's why I chose you.  You always end up getting what you want to steal no matter how hard it is, but I must warn you, she is a feisty one."

"I can do it.  What would you like me to steal?"

"I'm glad you asked.  I would like you to steal one of her dresses."

"A dress?  You want me to go into the house of Cora Mills, someone who wields magic, to steal one of her dresses?  Do you realize that I could be killed?"

"Well of course, dearie, but couldn't all of your attempts to steal something end in your death?"

"Well, I guess."

"Good! I need something that belongs to her for a curse I am making.  So do we have a deal?" This time he held out his hand for Robin to shake.

"Yes." Robin held out his hand to shake it back, and just as he shook his hand the Dark One laughed and disappeared in the same smoke that he had appeared in.

Robin came home empty handed hoping the merry men had killed something.  When he arrived,  he saw Marian already cooking the meat the merry men had apparently killed.  Little John, his best friend, came up to him.  "Robin Hood coming back empty handed?" he smiled,"Something's not right.  You don't miss!"

Robin laughed,"That's right Little John!  I was about to kill the biggest buck I'd ever seen until a man appeared and struck a deal with me.  He told me that he would destroy something of mine if I didn't steal a dress from a lady.  His name was Rumplestiltskin."  Little John gasped.

"Robin!  Why would you make a deal with him?  Don't you know that man is evil?"

"Of course Little John, but the man seemed like he really wanted the dress and it seemed like it would be an easy thing to retrieve."

"Well, I guess it does seem like something easy to get.  Who is the lady we are to steal from?"

Robin smiled,"You may not want to tag along on this adventure."

Little John looked hurt,"Robin, you know we always do everything together.  We have ever since we were little toddlers.  Now that you want to steal a dress from a lady you don't want me to come?"

"I just said you may not want to tag along.  I didn't say you couldn't!" Robin laughed.  Little John looked at him and smiled.  "The name of the lady I am stealing from is Cora Mills."

Little John looked at Robin with big eyes.  "Robin, do you want to get yourself killed?  For goodness sakes man, have you gone mad?  Stealing from Cora would be like asking to be killed!" Little John shouted.

"I told you that you may not want to tag along," Robin smiled.

Little john calmed down and looked at Robin pleadingly,"Are you sure about this Rob?"

Robin smirked,"Of course I'm not, but it would be something if we could say that we stole from THE Cora Mills."

Little John laughed,"It would be something! Alright Rob, I'll go with you.  After all, we always do everything together!"

They decided to leave in the middle of the night so that the chances of them not getting caught would be better.  Robin ate his lunch that his beautiful wife had prepared.  "Lunch was terrific m'lady!"  Marian blushed as Robin put his hands on her stomach.  "How is my little daughter doing?"

"How do you know it's a girl?" she asked smiling.

"Well I just figured you would want a girl, so I thought that if we acted like it was a girl it would be a girl!"

Marian laughed,"I have thought about it and I think I actually want a son."

Robin smiled real wide,"Really?  A son?"  Marian thought that he would want a son, and the way he acted when she said she wanted a son proved she was right.

"Well of course I do.  I would love to wake up every morning to see two of you!"  Robin smiled as he put his lips onto hers.  They kissed until they needed air.  "What was that for?" Marian blushed.

"Just because I can," Robin smirked.  He kissed her again a little longer this time, and then he pulled apart.  "Little John and I will be leaving during the night.  We were asked to steal a dress from someone and we agreed that we would."  Robin didn't tell her who it was for and who he was stealing from because he didn't want her to worry.

"Well then I guess you better go to sleep now then," she smiled.  He kissed her again and then he went into his tent and fell asleep.
