When they arrived at the castle and went in, they went to their room and put all of their things away.  By this time, it was about noon so they were hungry again.  Regina insisted on going down to the kitchen.

"Why don't we go make our own lunch?"

"Regina, I have people to do that for us!  We can just ask someone else to fix something for us."

"But Robin!  I like doing things with you!  Come on, it'll be fun!"

"I don't even know how to cook!"

"Well lucky for you, I do!  If you cooperate, I'll make you a dessert!"

"A dessert?  What kind?"

"My specialty, of course!"

"Which is...."

"It's a surprise."

"Oh come on, just tell me!"

"Nope, you made me wait on my surprises, so I'm making you wait on yours."

"Fair enough!"  Robin took Regina's hand in his and while they were walking to the kitchen, they ran into Cora.

"Good morning, Cora." Robin said.  Regina was silent.  She didn't feel like saying anything to her.

"Good morning, your highness.  Regina."  Regina kept a straight face.  She wasn't showing any kind of fake emotion to her mother.  "Where are you two off to."

"Well, we were going to make some lunch."

"Nonsense!  You have people to do that for you!  A King does not do anything like that!  I'll bet Regina is making you do this, isn't she?"  She walked up to Regina and grabbed her hand pulling her with her.  Robin was not about to let Cora take Regina and he was not about to let her talk to him that way.

"Stop, unless you want to leave now before our wedding.  I will send you back to your home and I will not allow you to step another foot in this castle.  Regina wasn't the one who came up with this idea, I was!" Robin lied because he didn't want Cora to know that it really was Regina's idea,"So, if you are getting on to me for wanting to make my soon to be wife lunch, then you can just spend some time in the castle prison.  Now, were you implying that I am doing something foolish?"

"No, you majesty.  I apologize.  Is there anything that I can do to make it up to you?"

"Well, for starters you can let go of my beautiful fiance!"  Cora looked back at Regina and gave her a glare.  She let go of her arm and Regina ran into Robin's arms.  "You can also try to stay out of my sight for the rest of the day."

"But why?  Am I not even allowed to see my own daughter?"

"Why?  Because I said so.  If I were to run into you again, I might just change my mind and throw you into the prison.  And no, you aren't even allowed to see Regina!  If you were to see Regina, you would also have to see me because she will be by my side all day.  Now leave us!"

"Yes, your highness."  Cora curtsied and walked back to her chambers.  The whole time Robin was yelling at Cora, Regina realized that she should probably help Robin control his temper a little better.  When she had looked into his eyes while he was yelling, she saw that his eyes had gotten darker.  She thought that if looks could kill, he would have definitely killed her so called mother.

"Robin, honey, are you alright?  You seem a little stressed out."

"I'm not stressed out!  Why would you say that?"  Robin still had the look in his eyes that he had used on Cora.

"Robin!  Robin, look at me.  Just look at me, only me."  She grabbed his chin and made him look her in the eyes.  "It's me, Regina.  Everything is okay!"  She noticed that his eyes had softened up.

"M'lady, I'm so sorry.  I don't know what got into me!  I'll leave you alone, I don't want to yell at you again."  He released his hold on Regina and started walking back to their room.

"Robin!  Robin, don't leave me!  You're not going to yell at me again!  I can help you control your temper!  I don't want you to go!  I still love you just as much as I did a few minutes ago!"  Robin kept walking so Regina ran after him.  He was already halfway up the stairs so Regina ran as fast as she could up them.  When she could almost touch him, she missed a step and fell backwards.  "Robin!"  As she was falling backwards, Robin kept walking.  Then she started rolling down the stairs and hit her head on the bottom step.  Her head instantly started bleeding and she was knocked unconscious.

Robin heard something hit the ground and he turned around.  "Regina!  Regina, baby, are you alright?  Regina?"  He ran down the steps and sat in the floor next to her.  He saw the blood and picked her up in his arms.  "Regina?  Honey, answer me!"  He wiped her hair away from her face and tore a piece of his shirt off to wipe off some of the blood.  Then he looked down at her chest to make sure she was still breathing.  He saw the small rise and fall of her chest.  "I'm so sorry, Regina!"  He stood up and adjusted his hold on her so he was carrying her bridal style.  He supported her head on his shoulder.  "You're going to be alright Regina, I promise."

Robin ran as fast as he could with Regina in his arms to the doctor that was in the castle.  He kicked the door open with his foot and shouted for the doctor.  "Doctor Whale!  Doctor Whale, I need you!"  The doctor came around the corner and looked at Robin.  His face changed from calm to shocked.  "What the heck happened?" Doctor Whale asked.  He knew he probably shouldn't have used that tone or said those words to his king, but he was shocked because normally he would just have patients with headaches or cuts on their knees.  This was actually something serious.

"Well, long story short, she rolled down the stairs when I wasn't paying attention to her and she hit her head on the bottom step.  She's breathing, but not much.  There is a really big cut on her head and she's unconscious!  Please help her, Doctor Whale!"  Doctor Whale was surprised that the king had called him by that name.  He would usually only call him Whale or a cuss word.

"I will do everything I can, my king."

"Please, call me Robin."

"Yes ki-, I mean, of course Robin.  Come lay her down on this bed."  Robin walked over to the bed and laid her down on the bed gently.  When he laid her on her back, he kissed her forehead right over the cut that was still bleeding.

"I'm so sorry, Regina.  I shouldn't have thrown a pity party for myself.  I should have listened to you.  I KNOW that you can make me a better person because you already have.  Please come back to me so I will be able to grow old with you!"  Doctor Whale looked at Robin with a look of confusion.

"You are marrying this woman, aren't you?  This will be my future queen?"

"If you can save her and she still wants me she will."  Robin rubbed her cheek.

"Mark my words, she will be marrying you."  Doctor Whale leaned down and listened to her heart.  "I still hear her heart beating, so that's always good.  I can see that she's breathing, but she isn't breathing a lot."  Then he looked at the cut on her head that was still bleeding.  There was a pool of blood on her head and on the pillow.  "Although, she has lost a lot of blood.  We need to wrap her head with something.  Here," Doctor Whale went to get a pillow case.  He cut a big strip of it off and handed it to Robin,"Fold this up and keep it pressed on the cut.  This should slow down the bleeding.  After this is all over, there is going to be a knot on her head for a while, but I don't know if there will be a scar."  Robin took the piece of fabric and folded it up.  He pressed it down on her forehead and sat down beside her.

"Thank you Doctor Whale!"  Doctor Whale smiled.

"You're very welcome, my king."

"No, I already said you can call me Robin."

"Okay, Robin."  Robin smiled.

"So, do you know when she should wake up?"

"Well, it all depends."

"On what, exactly?"
