Robin entered the throne room with all of his staff that he had managed to wrangle up. He walked up to his big chair and stood right in front of it. He stared at all of his workers and gave them a smile because they actually looked worried. He wasn't exactly sure what he should say, so he just started talking. "Good morning everyone. I'm sure you are all wondering why I have called you all here, but I will assure you that you are not in trouble. I have gathered you all here to apologize." Robin paused to see how they all would react. They all had shocked and confused looks. Someone spoke up.
"Your majesty, what are you apologizing for if I might ask?"
"I'm glad you asked. I have been a terrible person ever sense I have been here. I have killed people and I have been snobby to people for really no good reason, and I'm sorry. If you don't believe, you can ask my fiance." Robin stopped talking to look at their expressions again. He hadn't told anyone in the kingdom that he was getting married. He was planning on telling his staff and close friends before he told the kingdom. They were looking at each other with smiles on their faces. The same one who had spoken a second ago spoke up again. Robin was pretty sure her name was Ella.
"Is your fiance the one you have been walking around in the castle with?"
"Actually yes!"
"What's her name?"
"Regina Mills! She's beautiful, funny, and she is my soul mate. She really makes me a better person. I promise you all that that I will try my best to change. I want to be a better person. Could you all ever forgive me?" They all started speaking at once.
"Of course!"
"Yes!"
"How could we not"
"Why wouldn't we?" Robin smiled.
"Regina was right! She said you all would more than likely forgive me! Thank you all so much!" Ella spoke up again.
"So when is the wedding? Can we help?"
"Actually, it's in six days! Would you really be willing to help us prepare for the wedding?" Everyone spoke at once again, but it was the same thing.
"Yes!" Robin couldn't believe it. Ella smiled at Robin.
"So, what would you like us to do?" Robin thought about it for a second.
"Why don't you and a few others come with me and we will speak with Regina. I know what the rest of them could do though. Everyone! How about you all get in groups of three or four and start cleaning the castle. Could you do that?" Everyone immediately started getting in groups of three and four. Robin walking with Ella and she told three others to follow her. Robin led them to the kitchen where he thought Regina was. When he got in the kitchen, she wasn't there.
"Where is she, your majesty?"
"I don't know, but here is a note." Robin walked over to the table and read the note. "Oh, she just got tired of writing and went for a walk. How about you and your friends go help the others clean and I will come find you when she returns."
"Of course, King Robin!" Ella and the others walked out of the kitchen to find somewhere that needed to be cleaned. Robin sat down at the table and started working on the invitations because he didn't know what else he should do. He didn't want to do something and Regina not agree on it for the wedding.
Robin was starting to get worried as it was getting closer to lunch time. He was about to go look for her, but then she walked into the kitchen with a smile spread across her face. "Regina! I was just about to go looking for you! You took a long enough walk! Guess what? All of the staff forgave me and they asked if they could help with the wedding! They are all cleaning the castle right now. Actually I told Ella and a few others that I would come get them when you returned because they said they would do anything to help with the wedding. I figured you might want them to do something else so you wouldn't have to!"
"Robin that great! I told you that they would forgive you, but I actually found someone that wants to see you."
"Really? Who wants to see me?"
"Your best friend."
"What? Regina, don't be silly! I don't know where Little John is! Be serious, who is it?"
"Come in here Little John!" Little John and the rest of The Merry Men walked into the kitchen with smiles on their faces.
"Robin! I missed you so much man! I actually had to lead the group while you were gone! I promise, Rob, I will never give you a hard time again!" Little John ran into Robin and they gave each other a hug. Robin let a few tears fall.
"Little John! I thought I would never see you again!"
"I thought I wouldn't see you again either Robin! For a while I thought you were dead, but then I realized I was talking about Robin Hood! I knew he wouldn't have gotten himself killed."
"You're right there Little John." Robin let go of Little John and started hugging the rest of his men. Then he ran toward Regina and picked her up and spun her in the air. "Have I ever told you I love you more than life itself?"
"Well, you've told me you've loved me, but I don't think you've said more than life!" She laughed as he kept spinning her in the air.
"How did you find them?"
"Well, I just started walking through the forest and then I heard something like footsteps. I saw a deer as Little John shot at it and I saw it run with an arrow sticking out of it. Then I saw Little John and explained to him that we were getting married and that I wanted him to come back to the castle to see you. He agreed and now we are all here!"
"Thank you so much, m'lady! I don't think this day could get any better!" Robin sat Regina down back on her feet and leaned down to kiss her. When he pulled back Regina laughed.
"Honey, can we eat something? I'm starving!"
"I'm starting to think you're always hungry, but I am too! Men would you like something to eat as well? Wait, what kind of question is that? You guys are always hungry!"
"I see you haven't forgotten that Robin!" Robin called some of his staff in the kitchen and asked them if they could fix something to eat for them. They agreed and Robin, Regina, and The Merry Men all sat down at the long dinner table in the dining room. The men started sharing stories about the good old days and Regina watched Robin the whole time while holding his hand. She was glad that she had made him smiled this much by bring his friends back. He finally had some friends around the castle. Regina thought about friends and realized that there was someone missing at the table. Tinkerbell.
"Robin, I'll be right back."
"Okay, m'lady!" Regina walked down the hallway to Tinkerbell's room. She knocked on the door and Tinkerbell told her to come in. She opened the door and found Tinkerbell looking out at all the kingdom.
"Good afternoon, Tinkerbell!"
"Oh, hello Regina! Can I do something for you?"
"I was just coming to ask if you would like something to eat. Robin's friends are downstairs and I realized that you weren't at the table. So, are you hungry?"
"Yes! I'm starving! Thank you Regina!" Tinkerbell and Regina went back down to the dining room and found that the food was finally done. Regina sat beside Robin and Tinkerbell sat beside Regina. They laughed at each others stories as they ate their lunch together.
