Robin left his castle and followed the map. When the map said that he was right on her, he didn't see her at first. He looked all around him and then saw her pop out of the bushes and run. "Wait m'lady! I have to talk to you!" He ran after her and caught up to her because he was faster. "Wait! I need your assistance with something!"
The woman stopped all of a sudden making Robin run into her and landing on top of her. "Get off of me!" she yelled. She didn't even know that the king was on top of her.
"Apologies m'lady, but I need your help."
"My help? Why do you need my help?" The woman finally got off of her stomach since Robin got up. She stood up and rubbed the dirt off of her clothes. She turned around and Robin sensed a familiarity of her.
"I'm sorry, but have we met before?"
"Not that I recall. I don't think I would forget meeting you." Robin looked stunned. He smiled at her and she smiled back. They stared into each others eyes a little longer. Robin knew he had seen this beautiful woman somewhere before, but he just couldn't remember. He was loving staring into her chocolate brown eyes. They were so stunning. Regina thought that the man was very handsome and his beautiful blue eyes were very easy to get lost in, but she didn't know why she was thinking like this. She didn't even know the man's name. Regina broke the silence.
"So, um, what is your name?"
"My name is Robin Hood of Locksley, at your service," he bowed and Regina giggled.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Robin Hood of Locksley even though you did fall on top of me."
"The pleasure is all mine, and I apologize again for landing on top of you. Although it was kind of fun!" Did I just say that? I just met the woman and I am flirting with her! Robin get a hold of yourself! Before he could apologize for saying what he said Regina blushed and opened her mouth to speak.
"It was kind of fun with you being on top!" Did I just say that? I just met the man and I am flirting with him! Regina get a hold of yourself! What they didn't realize at the moment was that they obviously both felt like they were falling for the other.
"Well, it's getting late. How about we make a camp?" Robin asked politely.
"It is getting late, but how about I just take you to my camp!" Did I just ask him to come to my camp? What am I thinking? I can't let a stranger know where I stay. He could go tell mother, but he does seem like a polite man. I think I can trust him for some reason.
"That is very kind of you, Regina. Thank you!" He held out his hand for her to take. He didn't understand why he did it, but he really didn't understand why she took it. He looked down at her wrist and gasped. He saw the feather tattoo. That's why she looked so familiar to him. She pulled back her hand.
"I'm sorry! I thought you wanted me to take your hand! I'm so stupid!" He looked at her with love in his eyes and picked her hand back up.
"I did want to hold your hand. I was just shocked that you took it since we just met,"he somewhat lied.
"Well, holding one's hand doesn't necessarily mean that they are in love," Although she did feel this strange pull to him, but she didn't tell him that. He probably didn't feel the same odd pull toward her.
They walked along the trail to Regina's camp hand in hand. The whole way Robin was thinking to himself how strange it was that the woman he was supposed to steal from had a daughter that is his soulmate. And how he is supposed to bring her to the Dark One so she can cast a curse. He didn't know what to do because he liked being around her, holding her hand, and looking into her chocolate eyes. He also loved the sound of her voice. He didn't know if he should take her back to the Dark One or not. He wasn't quite sure how he would treat her and what he would do when she casts the curse and he doesn't need her anymore.
Regina was also having a conversation with herself on the way to the camp as well. She had this very strange desire to be near this man. She liked holding his hand, looking into his blue eyes, and listening to his accented voice. He was just so handsome and sweet in every way. She looked up at him and could tell he was thinking about something.
"Are you okay, Robin?" Robin was brought out of his thoughts of her.
"Me? Oh yes! Everything's fine when I'm near you!" Robin did you really just say that out loud! She doesn't know she is your soulmate! She probably doesn't even have feelings for you! Then he was amazed when she said something he didn't know that he wanted to hear.
"Robin, you're probably gonna think I'm weird for saying this, but do you feel the same strange pull to me that I do to you?" She stopped walking and looked right into his eyes. Robin smiled and leaned down to her lips and pressed them on hers. They both felt like a spark had been struck between them.
"I don't think you're weird at all," he said pulling back,"because I have the same feelings for you that I hope you have for me." Right after he got the word me out of his mouth Regina kissed him again. She put her arms around his neck and he put his arms around her waist. Robin pulled back for the need of air. "Well, I'm glad I finally got that out there!" Robin laughed. Regina laughed too and took his hand again. They laced their fingers together and walked towards her camp.
Robin decided to not tell Regina that she was his soulmate according to a green fairy named Tinkerbell that saved him from killing himself. He thought she would think he was weird so he would wait a while, maybe even never tell her. He still had to take her to Rumplestiltskin, but he was dreading the thought of doing it more and more. He knew he would probably die if he didn't take Regina to him, though.
They arrived at Regina's camp and Regina stopped and let go of Robin's hand. "Well this is it! Home sweet home! I only have one tent, but I don't mind sharing if you don't mind," she smirked.
"Well, I don't mind at all!" They walked inside the tent and got under the covers. Regina had her back against him and she could feel him breathing against her. Robin wrapped his arm around her waist hoping he didn't make her uncomfortable, but then she snuggled into his embrace. "Goodnight, m'lady!"
"Goodnight, my thief!"
"Wait, how do you know I'm a thief?"
"I had a hunch. Plus you already stole something of mine."
"Oh really. What have I stolen?" Regina turned her head to look into his eyes. She kissed him on the lips.
"I barely even know you, but you already stole my heart!" She turned back around and faced away from Robin. Robin smiled really big and kissed the top of her head.
Hey guys! I hope you all liked this chapter! This is by far my favorite one that I wrote! Will he end up telling her that they are soulmates? Will he take her to Rumplestiltskin after all? Hope you enjoyed this chapter!-Kaitlyn
