Joseph
Rachel's lips were painfully delectable, all swollen from her generous attention. All he wanted to do was kiss her and bite them until he drew blood.
"Yes," he said, his throat tight. He wanted to give her his monster. She deserved it in every way but for the first time, it was dormant instead of him trying to fight it into submission. Joseph wasn't sure if he was happy about it, or angry. He considered Rebbecca's timing, wondering if she had save Rachel because he had been so ready to dive into the deep end and face the consequences after... whatever they may have been.
"Then why'd you stop me?"
Her defiance lit a spark, as if cooing to the animal within him. He wanted her to wake it again. It had felt good, like stretching his legs after a thousand year hibernation, curled up in a cave that was too small. Joseph wanted to feel what it was like to run with it. He fisted her hair tighter, his breathing labored with desperation.
"You know, I didn't realized you could be flustered. You're like a rock. But back at the bar..." her eyes twinkled with mischief, daring him to remember how she had practically made him blush like a school girl.
He snarled. "I wasn't flustered— little one." Gone was Rebbecca and her disappointment. The monster came to life and erased the encounter, pushing it to the depths of his reasonable mind. He was back to stalking his prey, his excitement to make her bleed for him back and the only thing he could think of. He let go of her hair and, with lightning speed, grabbed her face with the same hand. He pulled her up to her feet like a rag doll, her legs unable to carry her weight after kneeling for so long.
Joseph spun her around so that her back was against him and wrapped his arm around her throat. With his other hand, he pulled her top out of the skirt and ran his fingers against the vulnerable flesh of her belly. She trembled and with her back to him, he couldn't tell if it was with arousal or fear.
"I want your blood, little one," he growled in her ear. "I want to taste it."
He felt her breath catch in her chest, could feel it a small jolt almost as if she had hiccuped. Clawing his hand, Joseph dug his fingers into her skin and dragged them across her stomach. She hissed, and he could imagine the burn she felt. Again, his need bubbled up in his chest and choked him. His breaths came hard and heavy, his vision blurred and all he could see was red.
