"She says she’s ruined…
But to me, she’s poetry
that survived fire.
Every scar she hides is a vow I’ve made To love her louder,
To protect her harder,
And to never let the world touch her the way it once did."

The engine purred beneath Nirvaan, its low hum slicing through the velvet dark of the night.
But inside him… it wasn’t quiet.

It was a storm.

A chaos wrapped in silence.

Her voice echoed in his ears raw, trembling, gut-wrenchingly honest:

"I hate this body, Nir…"
"I wanted to die."

He gripped the steering wheel tighter.

If rage had a heartbeat, it would sound like his.
If pain had breath, it would be the cold fog filling his chest.

Up ahead, the Raichand mansion rose from the dark like a sleeping beast Windows glowing.
Doors shut.
And behind them, a family waiting.

Waiting for him to walk in and answer everything.
To explain.
To justify the bruises on his skin and the silence in his soul.

He parked.

One long breath.

Then he stepped out.

The door opened before he could knock.

"Nir…"
Maansi's voice cracked , Eyes swollen from crying, voice hollow with pain.
Her gaze scanned his bruised face every mark, every cut and her knees nearly buckled.

The son they had never once raised a hand on...

Was standing in front of them, beaten, broken, bleeding in love.

"Andar aao."
("Come inside.")

Abhimaan’s voice rang from behind calm, cold, thunder laced in steel.

Nirvaan turned to Maansi and wiped her tear with aching gentleness.

"Maa, I’m fine… sachi."
("Mom, I’m fine... truly.")

They stepped in together three shadows in the hallway of a once-happy home.

"Papa..." He whispered, approaching his father like a child walking into fire.
