"You can't marry him Vaani" I said staring deep in her eyes gritting my teeth my chest tighten with unfamiliar and unbearable pain , just the thought of her being with someone else kills...
कुछ और था मैं कुछ और ही था तुमने ही मुझको निखारा है अब जो भी मुझमें प्यारा है वो हर रंग तुम्हारा है

"Jiju aapse bohot pyaar karte hain na?"
(“Jiju loves you a lot, doesn’t he?”)
Shrishti’s cousin teased as they still lingered on the terrace under the soft winter sky.
Vaani’s cheeks flushed instantly, a rosy pink blooming across her skin. She smiled, trying and failing to scold her.
"Jao, so jao. Bohot badmaash ho tum sab."
(“Go to sleep now, you all are such mischief-makers.”)
She said with mock-seriousness, but scolding? Her? An impossible thing.
The girl pouted playfully, sighing like a hopeless romantic. "I wish... mujhe bhi koi itna pyaar karne waala mile."
(“I wish I also find someone who loves me like that…)”
She said, staring dreamily toward the door.
"I wish har ladki ko Nirvaan jaise pyaar karne waale partner mile..."
(“I wish every girl finds a partner who loves like Nirvaan…)”
Then her voice dropped, barely audible a whisper wrapped in devotion.
"Par ye mere hain... Nirvaan mere hain."
(“But he’s mine... Nirvaan is mine.”)
The girl turned again, phone now tucked in hand."Aap sone nahi jaoge?"
