One month passed smoothly. Everyone was engrossed in their lives, and things were progressing well. Vaani had rejoined school and learned many instruments. Ruhaan had started going to the office with Nirvaan. Reeyansh was managing his business, while Anya had opened her flower shops. Shrishti's pregnancy was progressing healthily. Everything was going smoothly except for Nirvaan Raichand.
Vihaan had gone back to Italy without meeting him, and no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't reach Raunit. Every breath Nirvaan took felt burdensome; without killing him, he couldn't sleep peacefully. Although Vaani had started therapy and was healing a lot, he had heard her during every session. Every time she cried and talked about that incident, his heart cracked a little more, aching with unbearable pain. His consultant had helped him immensely; now Vaani flinched less during their attempts at intimacy, but there was still a pause. Sometimes she had to be vocal, but most of the time, he understood when to stop without her saying a word, based on the signs his consultant had taught him.
While Vaani had now become very comfortable with their family, she still carried a strange fear in her chest regarding Raunit's arrival, like a shadow refusing to leave, but she tried her best to overcome it.
"Vaani, ye wala dekho?" (Look at this one, Vaani?)
Maansi asked. They were shopping for Holi.
"Ye pyara hai, Mumma." (This one is pretty, Mumma.)
She said, taking the earrings in her hands.
"Chalo phir, ye tumhare liye fix. Kaashi, tum bhi dekh lo." (Then this one is fixed for you. Kaashi, you look too.)
Maansi said while they kept trying different sets.
Here, Nirvaan was working from home today as he had a mild fever, and his biwi had taken a very good class of him.
