"Mai joru ka gulam ban ke rahunga!"
The crowd erupted in laughter and claps, adoring the sight as Abhimaan and Maansi twirled together on stage, glowing with love.
Vaani’s heart swelled. May they live long together… they look so adorable. Her gaze drifted upwards to the open sky. A small ache tugged her chest...if only her parents were here, would they be this happy too?
Her thoughts were broken when a familiar warmth slid into her palm. She turned, already knowing who it was the man sitting beside her, just a night away from becoming her husband.
Her lips curved into a shy smile as Nirvaan leaned closer and pressed a soft, lingering kiss on her forehead.
"Joru ka gulam toh mai bhi banane ko mara jaa raha," he whispered, making her chuckle and blush.
("I too am dying to become my wife’s slave,")
The crowd roared with applause as their parents’ performance ended.
But before anyone could even blink, the DJ boomed with another track, shaking the floor with beats. The lights flickered, and suddenly, a boy came running in, draped in a dupatta.
"Ruhi!!" Vaani gasped, giggling.
"Oh? Ruhaan hai?" Nirvaan asked, chuckling. She nodded excitedly, her eyes sparkling. His gaze, however, stayed glued on her instead of the stage because she looked so happy, so radiant. He couldn’t help but admire.
