Chapter - 13

SOMEWHERE IN DARK ROOM :
A girl struggling to get up from the floor but
failed..as she was very week..just then a lady
came inside and just when the girl was
about to fall again..lady held her and made
her sit on the bed..the girl still looking to the
bracelet in her hand with utmost love as her
life resides in it only..lady sit beside her on
the bed and caressed her face..but the girl
didn't looked up..
Lady : "kaun ho tum..ek ajeeb sa rishta ban
gaya hai tumhare sath..kya hai is bracelet
mei jo tum sirf ise he dekhti rehti ho.."..the
lady asked her with so much love and
care..the girl slowly look towards the lady
and muttered..
Girl : "Manik..."...she said in the most softest
voice as if the name is very delicate..and she
again start caressing the bracelet..
Lady : "beta..from the day you met me..i
have only heard this name from you..plz tell
me..who are you..where are you from..may
be i can help you in reaching Manik.."...the
lady gently pat her face..the girl got
conscious after listening the name..
Girl : "Manik..."..she repeat..
Lady : "han beta..manik..tell me..who is he.."
Girl : looking downwards.. again enchanted
the name "Manik..."
The lady lost the hope again..and gently
made her sleep..when she found the girl
sleeping ..she covered her with a blanket
and moved out..taking a last glance of her..
OUTSIDE THE DARK ROOM :
Lady was sitting on the sofa and sipping the
coffee..she was in deep thoughts..just then a
servant came..
Servant : "Ma'am..dinner..lagwa doon.."
Lady : "ummm..nahi kaka..us ladki ne khana
khaya.."
Servant : "nahi ma'am..mai gaya tha uske
room mei..magar usne kuch nahi khaya.."
Lady : closed her eyes and said after face
palm "woh already itni week hai..agar wo
kuch khaegi nahi..toh theek kese hogi..kya
karu..kuch samaj nahi aa raha..."..she said in
a stressful voice..
Servant : "Aap pareshan mat hoiye..woh
theek ho jaegi.."
Lady : "han..ap bhi jaiye..khana kha
lijiye..mujhe bhook nahi hai.."..and she went
straight into her room..
The lady was in her room and resting on
her bed..when she remembered how she met
that girl..
(flashback)
1 week before..The lady was driving the car..it was
late night and it was very dark outside..she was
going her home..when she found a humanly figure
approaching towards her car with a speed as if the
person is running ..but before she apply the
break..the person got hit from her car and fell
down..
The lady came out from her car..and found that the
girl was unconscious..she tried to wake her up but
failed..
Lady : "beta..ankhei kholo..tum theek ho.. "..she
gently patted on her face but no response..
She somehow made her lay down on the back seat of
her car and took the girl to her home..
After 2 hours..the girl opened her eyes and found
herself in a room..firstly she got scared as where
she is..but the lady consoled her and the girl after
feeling a motherly touch..calmed down..
Lady : "beta ..relax..you are safe..what is your
name...kahan se aayi ho tum.."..she said in a soft
voice..but the girl was quiet..
The girl took out her bracelet from her hand and
hold it tightly near her heart..the lady was
observing her actions..the girl didn't uttered
anything except a name "MANIK"..the lady made her
sleep..
(flashback end)
Lady : "ek woh din tha..ek aaj ka din hai..us
ladki ne kuch nahi khaya..pata nahi kaun
hai ..kahan se aayi hai..aur wo MANIK..wo
hamesha..sirf yehe naam kyu leti hai..kaun
hai MANIK..kese pata karu..ek ajeeb sa
attachment ho gaya hai usse..uski aankhon
mei bahut dard hai..par jab bhi wo us
bracelet ko dekhti hai..uski aankhon mei
alag si shine hoti hai..i have to find wo kaun
hai..but kese..."..she said to herself and
slowly she also drifted into sleep..
Manik's Room :
The dark night finally passed away..Manik
was standing in front of the mirror and was
getting ready..just then his phone rang and
he grabbed his phone from bed and
answered the call..
Manik : "hello"..
Nyonika : "Manik..how are you now ..my
son.."
Manik : "I'm fine mom..aap kese ho..how
was the meeting.."
Nyonika : "do you really think tumse jyada
wo meeting important hai mere
liye??...hmmm??.."
Manik : "mom..i was only asking..acha apne
breakfast kiya.."
Nyonika : "han..without you this house is
incomplete..come back beta plz.."
Manik : "Main aa jaunga mom..plz don't
worry.."
Nyonika : "worry kese na karu..u r so
stubborn..don't i know..acha are you taking
your medicines on time..i will cross check
with cabir.."
Manik : smiled a bit "yes mom..ap itne saare
watchman chorke gayi ho..do u think wo
mujhe bina medicine liye rehne denge.."
Nyonika : smiles.."i miss you..please take
care of yourself.."
Manik: "i miss you too mom..and i will..but
u also take care ok.."
Nyonika : "yes sir.."..she laughed "acha..bye
take care..and come back soon.."
Manik : "yes mom..bye.."..and he
disconnected the call..
After sometime he came downstairs where
everyone was already waiting for him ..
Manik : "guys i need to talk.."..he said in a
serious tone..
Dhruv : "han buddy..tu baith..then we will
talk.."
they all settled down..
Manik : "we need to find out who did all
this.."..they all look at him carefully..
Cabir : "tu theek hai??.."..he said worriedly..
Manik : "am fine cabir..but it doesn't
matter..what matter is..THAT PERSON..who
has ruined our lives.."
Mukti : "you are right manik..we have to
find that person.."
Manik : "right..i will make that person's life
hell.."..he said in a low pitch voice but in a
very angry tone..
Cabir : "but what is the plan??.."
Manik: "as of now..koi plan nahi hai..but we
will make it happen...we will find that
person at any cost.."
Abhi : "hmmm..but the question is kese?..."
Manik : after a while said "firstly we have to
find that truck..from which Nandini met
accident.."...
Aaliya : "but it is almost 2 years..hum kese
dhundenge us truck ko.."
Navya : "Aaliya theek keh rahi hai..ab tak to
wo truck us driver ne kahin chupa diya hoga
ya fir destroy kar diya hoga.."
Everyone was in deep thoughts..and Ayaan
broke the silence..
Ayaan : "i know a place..jahan saare
vehicles destroy kiye jaate hai..i mean..agar
kisi bhi vehicle ke sath koi bhi crime
attached hota hai..toh woh sab wahi destroy
hote hai.."
Manik : "great then..dhruv,aaliya ,aahana
tum sab ayaan ke sath us place pe jao..and
mai aur cabir police station jaenge us truck
ka number lene..and mukti,abhi,and navya
tum teeno us truck driver ke baare mei pata
karo..local logo se..may be koi ho..jo hume
us accident se related koi clue de de...all
clear?.."
"YES"..everyone in unison..and they all
stepped out of the house in a hope..to find
something about that person..as soon as they
all stepped out..a pair of eyes observing
their each steps..it was Rohan..although..he
didn't knew what has happened inside the
house..but he start following them..but he
found they all are going in different cars..he
thought to follow Manik only..so he start
following Manik's car..
INSIDE MANIK'S CAR :
Manik was driving the car..Cabir was sitting
beside him..
Cabir : "Manik..are you sure police station se
hume koi clue milega?..i mean..us waqt we
didn't filed any case against that truck
driver as we all were in big shock.."
Manik : "i know Cabir..we didn't filed any
complaint..but accident to hua tha na..unke
paas record jarur hoga.."
Cabir : "you are right..."..
just then from rear view mirror ..manik saw
a car..which is constantly following
them..first he ignored..but then he observed
the car is actually following them..
Manik : "i think somebody is following us
cabir.."...he said while looking in the side
mirror..
Cabir : "what?..kahan..."..he tried to look out
of the window..but Manik stopped him in
doing so..
Manik : "don't..look outside..he will have a
doubt..we need to fool him.."..Manik took a
sharp turn and Rohan also took the turn but
he applied brakes as he had missed Manik's
car..
Rohan : "shittt..yeh gayab kaha ho
gaya..boss will kill me.."
Manik has took the shortcut which Rohan
didn't knew..and Manik's car took a U
turn..and now his car was on the road from
where he had taken the sharp turn..Manik
stopped the car on the turn and found
Rohan's car..Cabir and Manik look in the
direction of Rohan's car..
Cabir : "you were right ..but why he is
following us.."
Manik : "that what am thinking..write that
car's number..i think these all are
interlinked..hume iska bhi kuch karna
hoga..but let's go to the police headquarters
1st.."...and he drove away fooling Rohan..
IN THE POLICE STATION :
Manik and Cabir entered inside and Manik
said to the constable..
Manik : "i want to meet
COMMISSIONER.."..constable showed him
the direction..
Both entered inside the Cabin and Manik
handshake with the commissioner and he
allowed them both to sit..
Manik : "Am Manik malhotra.."
Commissioner: "ofcorse sir..apko kaun nahi
janta..plz tell how can i help you.."
Manik : "mujhe ek accident case ke baare
mei janna hai..jo 2 years pehle hua tha.."
Commissioner : "kahin ap us case ki baat toh
nahi kar rahe..jisme ek larki..she died on the
spot.."
After listening the word 'DIED' made Manik
helpless but Cabir held his hand and blinked
his eyes..
Manik : "han wahi..i need that truck
number.."
Commissioner : "sir give a moment ..mai
abhi check karwata hoon.."..and he called a
constable inside and asked him to bring that
case file..
After some time..constable came inside and
handled him the file..and Manik got the
truck number..they both thanked
Commissioner and came outside the
place..and sat inside the car..
IN THE CAR :
Manik : "we got the number..now hume iske
owner ka pata karna hoga..jo hume R.T.O se
pata chal jaega..let's just move.."..and he
droves away for R.T.O office.,.
SOMEWHERE ON THE CLIFF :
Rohan came to meet the boss ..boss was
sitting inside the car and windows were
closed..it has a black film on it..and Rohan
was standing very close to car..
Rohan : "boss..wo..actually..Manik..i missed
his car.."
Boss : "you are good for nothing..ek larke ko
follow nahi kar sakte the tum.."..person said
in anger..
Rohan : "mai unhe follow he karha
tha..but..pata nahi wo kahan chale
gaye.."..he said worriedly..
Boss : "just shut up..shut up.."..person
shouted.."Maine tumhe Harshad ko marne
ke lie bhi kaha tha..tum wo bhi nahi kar
paaye..woh KAAM BHI MUJHE KARNA
PADHA..ab kya mai us manik ka peecha
karu..."..the person literally shouted on
rohan..
Rohan : he was frightened after knowing
that his boss has killed Harshad
also.."woh..mai kya karu..mai kuch nahi kar
paa raha hu..last 1 week se manik ke sath
koi na koi hota hai..kabhi uske dost toh
kabhi uski maa..mai kya karta koi bhi use
akela nahi chorta,.."
Boss : "GET LOST...before i kill you as
well...last warning..am giving you last
warning..go behind him...GET OUT..."..the
person shouted very angrily..
Rohan moves out asap..as he don't want to
die right there..
Boss self thought : "Manik ..kab tak..kab tak
your friends will save you..kab tak..tumhare
friends..they are pain in neck..kuch karna
parega inka.."
Boss : "but ..ab tum bhi..tum bhi NYONIKA
MALHOTRA..you are also in my hit list..you
wants to protect your son..but who will
protect you from
me..hahahahahahahaha..."..that was a evil
laugh .."don't mess around with me..don't
come in my path..whatever comes in my
path will be ruined badly"...the person said
angrily..and drove away..
