LOVE AND VOW- Chapter-33

Old Malhotra Mansion :
Manik and Nandini entered inside the room..there was
silence in the room,..complete silence..a silence..which
was piercing her heart..he was standing on the side of
window..looking outside..facing his back to
nandini..she was badly in tears..his one hand was on
the side wall..while other was in his sherwani's
pocket..she is not able to take his silence anymore..it's
been 15 minutes both entered inside..but Manik is
silent..not even looking at her..and she is not able to
take it..she ran towards him and hugged him tight from
back...now..it's shown ..he was actually in tears ..he
closed his eyes..as soon as she collided with his back..
Nandini : "manik please mujhe maaf kardo..mai bahut
dar gayi thi..please manik.."..she sobbed badly..he
turned around and cupped her face..wiped away her
tears..and she was shocked..but then he made her
distance from him a little..she was now broke..
Manik : "you didn't trusted me nandini.." ...ufff! his
statement made her heart broke in pieces..his voice
carry grief and pain..
Nandini : "manik..mai..wohh.."..she was out of words
..how to explain him..
Manik : "ki tum dar gayi thi..ki kahi yeh sach janne ke
baad mai tumhe chor na doon..yahi na.."..and he
completed her left over words..she start looking
downwards..
He moved away from her..and start walking..
Manik : "mujhe ab tak lagta tha..my father..he left me
and mom..he is living in US..but no..he is not even
alive.."..he said holding a weak voice..shattered
tone..although he hated his father throughout his
life..but still..he was his father..Nandini was weeping
standing far from him..
Manik : "he was killed by Raghav..your so called
uncle.."..he said last line in a dramatic tone..he then
turned around to look at her..
Manik : "aur tumhe laga..yeh sach jankar that my
father's murderer is your uncle..you are relate to
him..mai tumhe chor dunga..bas..itna he janti ho tum
apne manik ko.."..he said last line coming close to her..
Tears were flowing down from her eyes..
Nandini : "nahi manik..mai bas..mai dar gayi thi
manik,..maii.."..she is not able to explain him
anything..
Manik : "agar tumhe lagta hai na..that i will leave.."..he
paused..then looked at her.." then i leave..." ...his voice
shivered her to the core..she looked at him in
shock..and he look at her with pain..he turned and start
walking..
Every step he took away from her..was killing her..she
was feeling like something is pricking in her heart..her
soul is leaving his body...she was looking at the
direction..in which he was going..he was about to open
the door,..but then stop..turned around to look at her..
Manik : "but ek baat yaad rakhna nandini..".. he stopped
for some seconds..she look at him with tearful eyes.. "if
i leave you..i will leave this world..i will prefer to
die..instead of leaving you..i will die..".. he said with
the most generous voice..and she without any rational
thought..ran up to his arms...and he engulfed her..in
his protective embrace..
Manik : "mai sach mai mar jaunga tumhare bina..i won't
be able to survive.."..he genuinely confess and she
hugged him more tightly..
Nandini : "am sorry manik..am really sorry.."..she said
while hugging him tight..while he tighten his hold on
her..
Manik : "main tumpe gussa nahi tha nandini..mai
khudpe gussa tha ki..mai tumhe shayad utni space de

said holding her tight..she broke the hug and cupped
his face..
Nandini : "don't say this Manik..please..Mai bas dar

said looking deep in his eyes..he kissed her forehead...
Manik : "wada karo..aage se you will never hide
anything from me.."..he forwarded his hand and she
placed her and assured him ..that she will never ever
hide anything from him..
After sometime..
Manik was lying in Nandini's lap..his eyes were
closed..she was running her fingers in his hairs..
Nandini : "Manik.."...she broke the silence..
Manik : "hmmm"..he just hummed..as he was really
tired..
Nandini : "Raghav ..he is my uncle..kuch bologe
nahi.."..she said being scared as she knows..Raghav is
also his father's killer..Manik opened his eyes..
Manik : "han..why he wanted to kill you?.."..he only
asked about her..not about his dad..which made her
worry..
Nandini : "because i am with his enemy's son..because
i failed his all plans..to harm you.."..she told him
straight forwardly as there is no reason left to hide..she
now is assure..no matter ..what the situation will
be..Manik won't leave her side..never ever..
Manik : "what?.."..he said in shock and stood up..he
was damn angry now..
Manik : "i will kill that jerk.."..he said in anger..Nandini
came towards him..and tried to calm him down..
Nandini : "Manik..relax..we will figure out
something.."..she said holding him by his shoulder..
Manik : "i won't let him..hurt you..no..i won't.."..he said
looking in his right side..but downwards..
He hold Nandini's hand and brought her
downstairs..she was shocked as why he suddenly
dragged her ..Everyone was pacing around ..all were
hell tensed..
Manik : "cabir.. call the pandit..mai aur nandini ..abhi
shaadi karehe hai.." ...he announced and Nandini look
towards him..she was so touched..and everyone else
were really happy..
Nandini : "manik.."..she softly called him..and he
blinked his eyes in assurance..and she smile..she is
assured..then till he is there..nothing wrong will
happen...
Soon Cabir brought a pandit with them..while girls
already took nandini inside the room..for the touch
up..as because of all the crappy drama..her lehenga
was not in a good state..and so as she..
Nikhil came towards manik..while cabir was settling his
turban on manik's head...
Nikhil : "manik..remember one thing...we can't disclose
your marriage..it can be dangerous..agar Raghav ko
pata chala..he will definitely try to do something.."...he
explained ..on which manik nodded a yes..and just then
nandini came downstairs..Manik turned around to see
her..she was looking breath taking..and her that smile
enhancing her angelic beauty...Manik smiled and start
walking towards..
As soon as Manik had started walking towards..she
rooted on her spot..her smile vanished away..as
now..she was recalling past moments ..which
happened on the marriage altar..she was scared a
bit..and manik sensed it..he came towards her...and
forwarded his hands to her..and with eyes asked her to
hold it..and she complied...
They both start walking towards the mandap..holding
each other's hand..and looking deep in each other's
eyes..just then they both reached..mandap..nandini
held manik's hand tightly..as a sign of STOP..he
instantly stopped ...
Manik : "kya hua?.."..he asked as she made both of
them stop..
Nandini : "mom aur chachi ke bina?"..she asked but
before manik could answer..nikhil came in between..
Nikhil : "bhabhi.."..he said with a smile.."hum yeh
shaadi disclose nahi kar sakte..not even to
aunty..please..waqt aane par hum sabko sab bata
denge..filhal Raghav ka pakda jana bahut jaruri
hai.."..he explained..she looked towards manik,.,and he
assured her..that he will look after everything..
Both walked towards the mandap..hand in hand..with a
smile..and sat down..
Pandit ji..start the ceremony..with the mantras..he
placed akshatra in nandini's hand and asked her to
keep it on manik's hand and hold it..as a sign of their
new life..with each other..she happily placed her back
side side of palm on manik's palm..and he hold her
hand ..both smiled looking at each other...
Then Pandit ji..asked brother's sister to tie nuptial
knot..Manik with eyes..asked mukti and navya to come
forward..both came and tie the knot..as much tied as
they can..so that MaNan will always hook up with each
other..and never part ways...
Both stood up to start phere..to take those special 7
vows..after which..they both will be complete..

pahuchne ke liye ..har buri najar ko mujhse gujrna
hoga.."..she took 4rd vow..determinedly..with a
smile...in her thoughts..

be my priority.."..she took 5th vow..holding his hand
tightly...in her thoughts...

always respect you.."..he took..6th vow..smilingly...

last vow..looking in each other's eyes..
Manik made her stand ...and both again sat down..

Pandit asked manik to apply vermilion in her
mang..manik took sindur in his hand..with the help of
finger...and applied it in her mang..she closed her
eyes..and everyone clapped..then manik grabbed
mangal sutra..and tied it around her neck..she opened
her eyes..her eyes met his..both smiled...
Manik : "hamei ab koi alag nahi kar sakta.."...he said in
his thoughts..
Nandini : "han manik..hume koi alag nahi kar
sakta.."..she also said in her thoughts..as if she heard
him...
Both smilied..and pandit declared.. "aaj se aap dono
jeevan sathi hue.." ...and every one clapped..while
maNan smiled broadly looking in each others eyes..
