Chapter 8: Her again
"Vera Falls died on the 18th March 2016. She was involved in a hit and run accident during that day. The people who committed the crime were never found, but in that case, it could be Avia and her boyfriend?"
Cindy had kindly given me that information from the database she looked in. I was in thought for a moment. What did Vera say to me in that dream...uh I couldn't remember. Maybe if I fell asleep again I would see her. That could work.
It was early afternoon and I tried taking a nap but nothing seemed to work. I tossed and turned but I couldn't get to sleep. I sighed getting up to get a glass of wine. I went to the fridge and got out the wine, and as soon as I closed the door Vera was standing the other side.
I jumped still holding the wine bottle.
"You...!" I said horrified.
She had an evil grin on her face. She was in the flesh, she was here in real life! She had blood dripping from a major impact on her head, and a knife wound from our previous  encounter.
"I know your in there, Avia. Get out or you both die" Vera said in a demonic voice.
Suddenly out of my control an invisible force forced me to bash the wine glass into Vera's head. She screamed, and I ran crying and screaming from the kitchen. I looked back and Vera had her hand up. I twisted my head forward and ran straight into the kitchen door. Everything went black.

And then I woke up. Startled, how... How? I couldn't get to sleep... Could I? I was so confused. Hoping this was reality, I went to kitchen. Opening the door which I thought was open before I went to sleep, I jumped and gasped. On my kitchen floor, was a smashed wine bottle. The wine had spilled on the floor, and it had spelt-
"Come out and play, Avia".
