Chapter 9: The Hospital
I had been texting Scott quite a lot after the whole ordeal. It freaked me out so badly, I couldn't control certain things in my body anymore. I kept having panic attacks, and I kept fainting from time to time. Scott got worried, and called the hospital to come and pick me up. This was a week after my second dream, and I'm still spooked.
The ambulance came and picked me up, even though I protested I was fine. They put me on a stretcher and we got to the hospital quick. The wheeled me in, and it felt like I was never going to come back out.
The doctors were testing for muscle spasms, and signs for any diseases or mental illnesses seeing as they thought I was hallucinating. I knew I wasn't. However. I was all clear, but something still wasn't right. They decided to keep my overnight, and at around about half 9pm, Cherry poked her head around the curtain to my surprise.
"Cherry?" I said uncertainly putting down my book. "What are you doing here?"
"Scott called. I was so worried about you!"
I sighed. "Well this is a first."
Cherry looked at me with sorrowful eyes. We were silent for a while. "I don't mean to be the pissy little sister, you know. I've just been wrapped up in my own life that I forgot you were there for me."
I rolled my eyes and was about to give a sarcastic reply, when John popped his head around the curtain.
"NO! GET HIM OUT! Fuck you you fucking disgusting pig!" I screamed and shouted. It wasn't me saying it though. I didn't even think about saying all of that. Suddenly it was happening again. The strong force lifted my hand to a flower pot on the bedside table. It threw it at John's head. He fell the floor. And the invisible force lifted off me and I held my arm in pure pain. I was starting to get dizzy again.
Cherry rushed over to him.
"What the fuck Castelle? WHAT THE FUCK? Nurse! NURSE! HELP! My sisters gone crazy!"
I shook my head as a few nurses came in. I started struggling and trying to pull all of the equipment off of me, but they were holding me down.
"No! Stop! It wasn't me! STOP!"
A doctor came rushing through the curtain with a huge needle and shoved it into my skin. I stopped fighting and everything became fuzzy. My cries became faint, but I could still hear Cherry's. I looked up from my arm and saw Scott, standing through the curtain with flowers in his hand.
I wish he could help me.
Then everything went black.
