Nova's P. O. V:
We soon appear amongst a sea of floating islands with buildings on them, and strips of land, some with canals of clear water, connecting to others.
Our boat crash lands onto a circular piece of land with a screech from the goats, a round building next to us.
I walk in between Val and Korg behind Jane and Thor as we head to the meeting hall.
Thor speaks up. "So... still rollerblading?"
"No," Replies the Foster with a shake of her head. "Nope. You?" She glances to Thor.
"Oh, yeah. Every weekend. Once you blade, you never fade!" He says with a wave of his arm. "Right, Korg?"
"Skate Mates for life!"
"Hey, can I run something by you?" Asks Jane as she reforms her Thor helmet.
"Yup?"
"So when I get to the bad guy," She begins while briefly holding up her hand, "what if I had a cook catchphrase? Like, "Eat this hammer! Bang!"" Jane thrusts it forward for emphasis. Thor chuckles. "Or, like, "Check out the hammer! Boom!"" She throws Moljnir down while Val scratches her nose. "Or, like... uh, no. I'm sharpening it." She waves her hand around helplessly.
Thor chuckles again. "No, no, no, they're all really good!" He says with a wave of his hands. "Mine is, uh, "This ends here and now!" He clenches his fist for emphasis.
Jane breathes, "Awe, that's such a good one." Val and I are smiling at the two.
Thor tells Jane, "It took me a long time to perfect it. You'll get there. You just need to..." He spins his right index finger around. "... practise."
"This is my first bad guy," Jane cuts in.
Thor says, "You never forget your first." He and Jane fiancé at each other before the brown eyed woman looks ahead. "Yeah."
Jane asks, "So, you got a girlfriend?"
"Uh, no, no! Too busy, no! Don't have time, you know? Just... work and everything..."
"Whoa. I'm gonna check this place out!" Breathes Jane before she takes off with a flash of lightning. Korg walks past.
"Whoa. So cool," I hear Thor chuckle.
"Who's so cool?" I ask as Val and I stop beside him.
"Huh?! Eh, the buildings are cool," Thor was quick to amend.
Val questions, "What's happening there? Am I, uh..." She shrugs. "...sensing feelings?"
Thor scoffs, fiddling with his gauntlet, "Feelings? What? For Jane?"
"Yup." Val nods with a smirk.
"No, don't be ridiculous. Feelings," Thor scoffs. "The last time we had feelings was a long time ago." He waves his arm for emphasis before gripping his hands in front of him. "Long, long, gone. I'm now married to Nova with two awesome sons."
