"WHAT?!" I scream, throwing my hands in the air. "No, no you guys are kidding!"

"Sorry Jess, but we've already bought a house there and found jobs." Mum says, taking a step foward. I step back as she does.

"Unbelievable." I mutter.

"Get packing by tomorrow, we're leaving in a week." Dad says. I stare at him, wide eyed.

"A week?! A WEEK?! ARE YOU GUYS OUT OF YOUR MINDS?" Jake starts to cry. Jake's my little 2 year old brother. I go and comfort him. "Sorry Jakey, sissy's just mad." I pick him up in my arms and he sniffles.

"Why is sissy mad?" His high pitched voice asks.

"Because sissy has some issues." I smile at my comment.

"What are sissy's issues." I put Jake down.

"Just stuff." He nods and runs to Dad, wanting a ride on his shoulders. I smile and shake my head for a moment, forgetting that we're moving in a week. I go upstairs and close my door. I stand with my back against the closed door and look around my room. Clothes on the ground, papers everywhere, a chair in the middle of the room. I look over at my counter and smile. I smile at the picture. The picture of Calum and I.

I peel my back off the door and grab the framed picture off the counter. I sit on my bed and just stare at it, memories flooding in.

I need to introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Jessica Robins. 15 years old, birthday is June 23rd (in 4 weeks), I live in Sydney, Australia, and I have a boyfriend named Calum Hood. We've been dating for 8 months and still going strong.. But I'm afraid of what might happen when I leave.

And about Calum and I. We met at a picnic 10 months ago at a park and the people assigned us as partners. We both didn't talk much but worked great together. We exchanged numbers and kept in contact. He asked me out on October 15th of last year, 2012. That's what the framed picture is of, Calum and I on our first date. It was pizza and then ice cream.

So all that aside, how am I gonna break this to Calum? I can't bear to see the hurt look on his face when I tell him.

Buzz Buzz

I put the picture back on the counter of the table and grab my phone. A message from Calum.

Calum: Hey sweetheart. Can u hang out today?

Hell yes. I'm taking any chance I can to hang out with Calum.

Me: Yes, where do u wanna meet up, my prince?

I send it and he instantly replies.

Calum: The hill.

Me: See ya there in whatever minutes. Like ya xx

Calum: U too xx

I close my phone and put it in my pocket. I grab my cozy sweatshirt and pull it over my head. Running downstairs, I almost trip and fall. Luckily there were railings.

"Bye Mum and Dad, I'm going to hang out with Calum. I probably won't be home for dinner so bye." I close the door before they can answer. If they need to talk, they can just call or text.
