a/n: I'm picturing Ian Somerhalder in his early twenties as Ethan.
I took a deep breath before opening the door, revealing Ethan who smiled brightly when he saw me. He was dressed in a white button up shirt which made his muscles look even bigger, blue jeans and black combat boots. "Riley, hey! How are you? Are you ready to go?"
"Hi Ethan, I'm fine and yes, I am ready to go." I smiled shyly, playing with them hem of my shirt nervously.
Stop it, Riley. You're a grown ass woman and you don't have to be afraid of the guy, he's just showing you around town. And maybe he'll become my boyfriend and marry me in a few years.
Okay, let's take it easy there.
"Well, come on then." He smiled at me and started to walk backwards towards what I was assuming, his car. I shut the door behind me and locked it, just in case. Ethan opened the door for me, flashing his million dollar smile as I got in, softly thanking him. He got in too and started the engine before driving off.
"So, Riley, why did you move to this fine town? And by fine town I mean dump." He chuckled as he looked at me through the corner of his eye.
"Oh well, me and my parents visited Ireland when I was a kid and I thought it'd be nice to come back." I relaxed a little more and sat back in my seat while looking at the beautiful scenery through the window.
"Aren't you going to miss your parents?" He asked.
I could feel the tears starting to surface but I tried to contain them with all I had. I'm not going to cry in front of Ethan, it'll ruin the day and he will think I'm weird.
"My parents past away a while ago actually." I spoke, leaning my head against the window as I waited for his response.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be nosy."
What?
"Oh no, it's fine, forget about it. Where are you taking me?" I tried to change the subject.
"I thought we'd just drive around town for a while and maybe we can go for dinner afterwards?" He turned his head and looked at me, smirking slightly.
"That sounds good." I grinned, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

We had drove around Mullingar for a few hours, occasionally getting out to look at the beautiful landscape. Ethan had showed me where the most important stores were located at, the best restaurants, the hospital, the police station and everything else that mattered. I actually felt like I knew what I was doing right now, I really appreciate that he'd do this for me.
He parked in front of a really cute looking restaurant and got out, walking over to the my side of the car and opening the door for me.
What a gentleman.
"Thanks." I could feel my cheeks starting to heat up so I put my head down slightly, hoping he wouldn't see it.
"Don't hide your face, you're cute when you blush." He smirked, brushing his hand past mine as we walked towards the entrance of the restaurant.
This guy is smooth.
He opened the door for me again, letting me walk in first. As soon as we both got in, a waitress who looked in her mid-twenties walked up to us.
"Hello! Welcome to Harry's Shack, My name is Leah and I will be your waitress tonight, how may I help you?" She spoke in an obnoxiously loud voice.
