It's All a Lie

Chapter 6-I'm Done

Emmi's POV
"Where would you like me to sign?"

"Right there would be great." A girl about twelve years old said to me. I signed her shirt and she thanked me and took a picture. It's been three hours and I'm already practically dying.

"Mom I'm gonna take a break."

"Sure thing hun." Mom said with a smile. But what she means is "make it quick." She can't say that because of the thousands of fans right in front of us,but I know that's what she wants to say.

I ran back to where Brock and Ceciley were just chilling backstage. I love Ceciley so much,that's probably why I was so sad when I found out we were moving back to Idaho. Ceciley basically protected all of us,and plus,she's the only one who knows.
"Look I'm a robot!" Brock said walking staright.
"Ceciley you have to turn me so we don't run into walls!" I said about to run into the black curtain. She quickly turned me the other way as Brock almost ran into the pole. We continued this game until dad said that Glozell was out there.

I jumped into Ceciley's arms and we walked out. "Hey there pretty girl!" She said to me before she snapped a picture with me. I saw dad grinning from ear to ear because Daxton was taking a picture with her. I shrugged it off and sat back at the table with Gavin and Avia.
"Hi what's your name?"
"Arianna." I wrote a small message to her and passed it down to Avia who after passed it to Gavin. This is what we did for the next 2 hours,until the meet & greet was finally over.
Avia was looking at some of the fan art our fans made for us. They're amazing at drawing.

Dad was stopped by a gaurd because he said that he was his inspiration to loose weight.
"That's good man,don't ever loose hope. Have I met yoy before?" Dad proceeded to keep questioning whether or not he has met this man before.

We were walking over to the car,until mom and dad started crying and they began to kiss each other.

"I just watched it babe,it was great!" She said hugging dad. What did she watch? Oh probably the Vlogumentary trailer. The crew was filming them cry,we all looked at each other because we wanted to see too.

"Dad can we see it?" Avia asked.

"Yea,I want everyone to see it." Dad handed us his phone with the video ready to hit play. Ready to tell the viewers about our fake life. One touch away.
No,not right now,be patient Emmi,patience.
The little voice inside of me was saying that.
Patience is all I need right now,patience.

"Alright you're mother and I have a party to go to,Ceciley you guys can all go swimming! Yay!"
"Yay!" We said enthusiasticaly. We really just wanted to get away from them,and they knew that that's what we wanted.

Once they left,we all quickly got dressed into our swimsuits. My one piece was way to small on me,but I couldn't buy one yet.

"Alright let's go to the pool kiddos!" Sometimes,or all the time,I wish Ceciley was my mom.

We walked down to the pool trying to get unnoticed,and once there,there were maybe a few families in a huge pool. Not bad.

I threw my towel off onto a beach chair and jumped into the pool. I quickly swam up to the surface and felt the warm air blast onto my face again. I pushed my hair back behind my ears remembering I forgot to braid it,but who cares,I'll look like a mermaid.

I swam to the stairs so I could jump in again. I jumped in once again,but stayed down in the water longer this time. I swam down like a fish-or a majestic mermaid in this case- and looked around at the shimmering blue water. Underwater was so clean and blue,it felt like I was in a whole other world. Maybe this is why I love swimming so much,maybe I just get to escape mom and dad,and feel,free.

I swam up and swam over to talk to Avia and Ceciley.

"Avs you can jump in now,the waters fine!"

"I think I'll pass on swimming today,thanks though!"Then she continued to look at her iPod. I shrugged it off and went down underwater again. My sister is slowly turning into a teenager,this is bad,I think? I'm technically a pre-teen,so I understand her,but this is different now.

"That was so much fun!" I exclaimed as we walked into the hotel room. "I get the master bathroom!" I exclaimed running into the room leaving Gavin and Brock with the small bathroom.

I double conditioned my hair to make sure it didn't dry out,then I washed my entire body so I didn't smell like chlorine. I walked out the bathroom and wrapped my towel around my hair. I quickly got dressed and looked at myself in the mirror. Mom's makeup was right next to me,so I grabbed some.
Mom's not coming back for a while,you'll be fine!
Don't do it! Do you really want another punch in the face?
"Mom won't notice right?" I whispered. I applied some mascara and put it down,then some eyeliner and I set it down again. I went for the nail polish because my nails looked horrible. All of a sudden,mom came in. Out of shock,I swatted my hand around causing the makeup to fall over,and some even spill.

She closed the door quietly and calmly.
"Oh Emmi,you didn't bathe your hair properly,go run the shower again." She said picking up her nail polish. I did as told,and stepped back into the shower. She put the bath stopper up so the tub would fill up. The shampoo bottle was in my hand,until she grabbed it and squeezed it all over my face,causing it to go into my eyes.

I was screaming,not on the outside but in the inside. I couldn't scream,no words came out,I was silent.

She pushed me down,and held my head under the water.

"Do that one more time and the next time I do your makeup,you might loose an eye,so watch it!" I heard her through the water. She took her hands off my head,grabbed her lipstick,and headed out.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes,I could barely see,it hurt when I opened my eyes. I cried softly at the thought of not being able to see the world and all its colors. The thought of never seeing another rainbow made me cry.

And like that,I fell asleep in the tub.

"Emmi?" Ceciley shook me as I was wrapped in a towel now.

"W-what happaned." I asked looking around.

"I saw you passed out,naked,in the tub,so I carried you out and onto the bed,how you feelin'?"

"Well considering I can still see,I guess I'm good."

"Hun come here." She pulled me in for a hug and I cried,I cried like there was no tomorrow into her chest.

"Ceciley I'm done! I can't take it anymore,I'm done! I'm just done!" I said running out of the room. All the kids were sitting around.
I had thought that over the years,the starvation was the worst,but now,the potential of mom possibly blinding then drowning me is what triggered me.
This is the worst she has done to any of the kids,and I can't take it.

"Guys,its time for the plan."
