*Dean's P.O.V*
I drove up to runners point. Carson's hair was in a braid that fell to the small of her back, her deep brown hair still a little wet from her shower. She smelled like vanilla, like Carson always does and always has. I could just barely smell her deodorant, because sense the age of nine she insisted she used the same kind as me, claimed it worked better. Her face was clear of makeup except for some mascara, she had dark blue skinny jeans a pair of black running shoes a grey t-shirt and my blue flannel. She opened the glovebox and pulled on her metal rimmed Ray-bans.
She met me at the trunk, putting on her thigh holster, and a shoulder strap.
"You know, it's attractive seeing you heavily armed."
"Until I get the balls to kill you," she smirked.
"You never will." I smiled, knowing she truly wouldn't.
*Carson's P.O.V*
It took about 45 minutes for us to get to runners peak, I began to look around.
"Dean there's some sulfur but nothing else, the next kill should be within an hour."
"Maybe on the bridge?" (Over a huge river, usually only used by locals in the colder seasons to get fire wood)
Just as the words left his perfectly pink lips the sound of a car came across the bridge, it parked in the middle. Dean went down a trail to look for clues. But I knew how to hunt alone and I went to the car, it could be the next victim. I slowed my sprint to a walk, trying to catch my breathe. I got extremely shakey as I saw the car. A 98' Chevrolet camero. Black. My black camero.
Kyle stepped out of the car.
"I knew you'd catch my clues doll face, you were always smart." He began to walk towards me.
"Keep the fuck away from me!"
"Stop being silly, it's time for you to come home."
"No, shut the hell up, your not home and you never will be."
"What happened to us forever, don't you love me?"
"I never loved you," I pointed my gun at him, my hands still to shakey to get a good grip. He saw that and knocked it out of my hand while ripping the one of my shoulder strap.
"I love Dean, I always have!" He swung back and punched me in the jaw. Dean was headed our way, and saw it but he wasn't there in time, I was to angry to even her his yells and footsteps.
"Go to hell." I growled, I lurched at him nailing him in the temple then right where the jaw meets the ear. He was dizzy and off guard but still managed to pin me to the hood of my car. He began to kiss my neck and rip my shirt off. When I screamed at him he took a knife and lashed my rib cage.
"Never again," my whisper was almost in-auditory. I pulled my feet up and flipped us to the other side of the car, we both hit the pavement hard. I grabbed the back of Kyle's head and slammed it into the metal bar before pulling my knife from my belt.
I stabbed him, I killed him. He slumped over on me I felt the blood oozing onto my skin. It was warm and thick. I dragged him to the edge before throwing him off.
The knife clattered to the ground, I shivered realizing that my shirt was pretty much gone. I turned, Dean stood there, slightly in shock. I just stared into his green eyes as he walked towards me. His arms snaked around my shoulders. By now I was shaking, and hyperventilating.
"Oh god, I'm a monster."
"No, baby, you had to. He was going to hurt you again. You're so sweet. Shh." Dean kissed my forehead and I calmed down. I leaned into his chest. By now it was dusk, soon to be dark. Dean pulled away. I just kind of stared at my shirt, all bloodied up I ripped of the rest and wiped the blood away, buttoning up the flannel. Dean draped his leather jacket around my shoulders, before wrapping an arm around me. He grabbed my knife.
"We better get going, you good to drive?"
"I'll be fine to go to Bobby's. "
He squeezed my hand before jogging back to the impala. I picked up the rest of my things and started up my baby.

We got to Bobby's and I took a shower, I came down in skinny jeans and my grey and maroon high school sweater, the high school where Dean and I went for the last three years of it. My hair was up in a messy bun and I had my reading glasses on.
Dean smiled when I came in the room.
"What?" I asked.
"Your just, well you."
"Well I'm glad my dorkiness makes you happy."
Dean walked over to me and hugged me.
"I want to take you somewhere, baby girl."
"Do I need shoes?"
"No." Dean laughed, like usual at my desire to have bare feet.
"Okay let's go."
*Dean's P.O.V*
I smiled as the lights passed over her face, she was doing something on her phone. I was taking her where I always took Sammy. It always made him smile.
I watched as she got out her eye's scanned the field, she smiled as the fireflies everywhere lit up.
"It's beautiful Dean."
"Come here." She sat on the impala's hood next to me, I pulled her into my chest and we leaned back. From here you could see the Galaxy, so many stars and colors.
"Dean I love you, I remember being here with Sammy. That night we stole the impala because he was upset."
"Yeah, he loved it."
"You are a good big brother, you know that right."
"Am I."
*Carson's P.O.V*
I knew Dean was broken, he wasn't going to believe right now. I just leaned into his chest and held his hand.
I started to sing to Dean, hey Jude. It was my favorite song as a kid. He said his mom used to sing it to him. He pulled me of the hood of the car and into the field. He but his hands on my waist, I smiled and put mine on his neck.
"I thought you didn't dance."
"Just sing."
I continued, we just danced, maybe it was hours. Maybe it was minutes but I was content. In a world so screwed up, with two people so screwed up, it was crazily beautiful to have a moment of serenity.
