I breathed in and out slowly as I prepared myself for what I was about to do. I stopped walking only for a second before pushing myself forward, deciding to get everything over with.

"Let him go!" I said walking into the room. All eyes were on me immediately. I walked up to Bruce, the vampire who was just about to kill Julian and pushed him away from him.

"Why is everyone just standing there? Kill her! She, a prisoner due to be beheaded at dawn and has escaped from her room," Ezra shouted. "Enough!" I yelled looking straight at him.

"Artis, Elders, Ember...what is Julian to be put to death for?" I asked looking at each of them. "For helping you escape obviously, "Ezra said. I glared at him. "No one asked you to speak, stand there mute as you should and only speak when someone addresses you, in which no one has. Also...Julian has not helped me escape, if that were true, while you had held him here for sentencing, I wouldn't have still managed to appear to you all here right now as we speak." I said.

"Before this, he was not to be put to death on any account as well as by initiating but not committing the death of Kalen, so release him, he's an innocent." I said.

My family, the elders and other vampires looked at each other before letting Julian go.

"But you! You will still die at dawn!" Ezra said clearly upset that there was one less vampire to be put to death. "For what?" I asked curiously. "For interacting with a human, for betraying your family, giving yourself to him as I caught you kissing him!" Ezra said.

"Would it have been better if he weren't human?" I asked. "But he is!" he replied smugly. "Oh I am now?" Hunter said coming out from the shadows behind me.

Gasps were coming from every vampire in the room.

Hunter walked up to me and took my hand. "I am newly made, now one of you therefore Moon has never interacted with a human, she has never committed any crime, no outsider knows your secrets, with that said, we both should be free and our sentence overlooked," Hunter said.

I looked at him and smiled. I thought he was strong and handsome before but now that he was one of us, his features were more defined and his eyes shined with a piercing glow.

Ezra stalked towards us and grabbed Hunter's mouth, making him open so he could see his newly made fangs. He let go of Hunter before slapping him across the face. I squeezed Hunter's hand as I noticed his jaw clench.

"This is an outrage! She cannot do this?!" he yelled. "And why not Ezra? We were all human before we were made; we were all created by another vampire so as to ask why Moon could not change Hunter would never be provided with a well-executed point. In this situation I overlook the sentences, no one shall die today." Artis said.

I smiled and hugged Hunter. "Let's go home," I heard Artis speak to the rest of the elders. I looked toward him and nodded my head, thanking him for his kindness. He returned the favor before they all walked out of the room and began their journey home. Ezra sparing one last look to Hunter and I.

I looked at the newly made vampire in front of me. "We did it," I smiled. Hunter looked down at me. "We did thank you for saving my life," he said. I grinned. "Thank you for saving mine." I replied.

"Moon, I've never felt this way in my life...ever, you are becoming my world each day. I look forward to seeing you, being with you, touching you, holding you, kissing you. I was worried about how long I'd be able to do that before and now I know that if you'll let me, I am able to do that for eternity." Hunter said.

If I had a heart, I'm sure it would have been filled up with love juice. "I can't imagine life without..." I started to say but stopped when Julian approached Hunter and I.

I took a few step forward and hugged Julian, he felt like home. Even though I was upset at him for pretending his death, he was my everything. "I'm so glad you're safe," I said to him. "And I you." he replied.

"I am sorry for everything that has happened recently in our lives, any pain I caused you." he said. I looked up to him and gave him a small smile." I am leaving...I want you to come with me," he said.

I looked up at him in shock which he chuckled at.

This was what I wanted. I wanted Julian to finally accept me, for me to go with him, see the world with him. To be with him forever. I looked up at him and smirked.

"I can't. I am meant to be here." I replied. "Why?" Julian asked looking shocked that I had not agreed to leave with him. "Because now, I do not need to figure out life with you Julian, I am happy." I confessed.

"With Hunter?" he asked. I nodded my head yes. "Yes, with Hunter."

Julian sighed. "I understand... I will always adore you Moon." he said kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes at the sensation.

"I will see you soon," he said pulling away.

I stood there watching him walk away until I couldn't see him anymore.

Julian was gone, however this time I wasn't upset by it. This time I welcomed it, I knew he needed to feel free.

I looked around for Hunter but could not see him. Knowing the only other places he knew in my home were the dungeon and my room, I knew he'd be in one of those areas and made my way to him.

Hunter was in my room sitting on the bed, looking out the terrace window. "Julian disposed the body that was on the terrace before he left," he said as I sat down next to him. "So are you leaving here? Are you leaving me?" he asked putting his head down and sounding so sad.

I lifted his head up.

"No, I will be here with you. Forever." I smiled. "Really?" he asked me in disbelief. I laughed. "Really," I replied. "Forever?" he asked as he leaned in closer. "Forever," I assured him as our lips touched.

The end...for now
