*Hunter POV*
The mystery vampire had broken the small dungeon window and we climbed out. He held onto me as we flew up to a terrace. A guard stood up and tried to block us from entering. Mystery vampire grabbed the guard's neck and twisted it hard to the left. "Oh shit! You just snapped that dudes neck! That was fucking awesome!" I said excitedly. The mystery vampire rolled his eyes and opened the terrace door to a room. Moon's room.
She was lying on her bed; her left hand was chained to it with a gold chain. "Oh my gosh! Moon!" I gasped out as I ran to her. She looked at me and a small smile replaced her frown. "Hunter! How did you get here? You need to leave before they catch you," she said with concern. I ignored her and grabbed the key that was on the dresser by a coffin. "Seriously, you should leave...wait how did you get here?" she asked as she was finally free from the chain and hugged me tightly. It felt so good to have her in my arms. "No need to thank me at all for assisting your friend," came the now familiar yet mysterious vampire voice.
Moon turned around and I swear her face paled even more. "Julian??" she said in shock. He smiled at her. So this was Julian...I thought to myself. I tried not to get jealous as she let go of me and ran to him and hugged him with everything she had. "It's alright love," he whispered to her. She pulled back and smacked him in the face. "How could you...why...tell me why," she said in a small vulnerable voice. I never heard her use this tone before. "I had to get away I'm sorry," he replied to her. "So you couldn't have told me?" she asked. "Not even Marlowe knew until I had arisen," he replied. Moon looked down to the right, at nothing in particular. "Thank you for saving Hunter, and I," she said. Julian nodded his head in understanding.
Moon wiped her face, assuming she wiped her tears away and let out a long breath. "So this is all good and well but what are we going to do now?" she asked looking at both of us. "I say the three of us run away, just disappear," I said. Moon looked at me. "Julian isn't the type of vampire to travel with anyone," Moon said with a glare to Julian. Julian smirked. "Well not the three of us, maybe us though, I say we use that one for food," Julian said to Moon. "No!" she semi yelled out. "Three's a crowd and he couldn't keep up with us if he tried," Julian said. "Let's try it then," I suggested.
"Wait. How did you two even get here, isn't there a guard..." Moon started as she walked to her terrace. She gasped. "Is that a dead body!? On my terrace, are you crazy!" she yelled. "You see dead bodies all the time, what's different about this one?" Julian asked. "He's basically in my room," she said crossing her arms. She looked so cute. "The three of us are dead if we get caught. you for being human and around us, Julian for associating with us, and apparently we all already know about me...what are we gonna do?" she asked seriously. "I don't care what we do, as long as you're safe, that's all that matters to me," I said walking up to her and hugging her again.
I couldn't help it; I needed her in my arms. The thought of her unsafe or threatened terrified me. Julian looked at us with a tad bit of shock. His eyes watching every movement we made during our embrace. "I say we run..." Moon started to say as she began pulling away and then suddenly threw me into her bathroom... just as her bedroom door opened.
"What is this? Julian? How lovely it is to see you and to see you here of all places, and Moon. Unchained from the bed," a voice said. I stood still behind the door of the bathroom. "That's three murders in one day...amusing," the other vampire said.
The vampire went after Julian. The two fought for a few seconds before two more vampires came into Moon's room. The vampires dragged Julian out as Moon tried to stop them. I held my breath as one of them pushed her and she hit her head on her bed post. She sat on the floor and rubbed her head. I waited for the other vampires to leave and then rushed out to her.
"Are you okay?" I asked her looking at her head. "Fine...we need to get to Julian, we can't let him die." she said. I groaned. "Why not?" I asked not even the slightest curious. "Because he saved both of us tonight." she replied looking straight into my eyes. I couldn't handle it when she looked at me; whenever she looked at me my heart stopped and started beating rapidly at the same time. I knew from that moment on I would do whatever this vampire asked me to.
"Wait!" I said grabbing her arm. "What?" she asked confused. "They will never let us go if I am still human," I said surely. "Hunter...now is not the time for this," she said. "I am serious! If you go out there with me still as a human, you will die at dawn. I will die at dawn. If I am made into one of you, we both have a chance to live," I said trying to convince her.
Moon stood there thinking about it. I took a candle off the dresser and smashed it. I then took a piece of glass and cut myself. "You know what you have to do Moon," I said looking at her seriously. I wanted to cry as she shook her head no.
