"What do you think you're doing!? Humiliating me like that in front of the elders! Our coven!" Kaken yelled before he slapped me. After rubbing my cheek for a second I stood up and backhand smacked him. "Don't you dare touch me like that! How dare you hit me?!" I screamed at him. Kalen turned around and pushed me into the wall. Before I could really react, a loud growl was sounded out and in the blink of an eye, a body flew into Kalen. I looked up to see Julian baring his teeth at Kalen, who also took a stance, ready to attack Julian.
I watched them launch themselves at each other before pulling away. "Stay away from her Kalen!" Julian yelled pushing Kalen away. "She's mine after tonight." Kalen replied. "No I will not be. Not after what you did." I said, "what did he do?!" Julian looked at me with glowing gold eyes. "Should you tell him or I?" I asked. Kalen stood there with a defeated and disappointed look on his face. "He forced himself upon me," I confessed.
Julian's face had a look of confusion, disgust then horrified to complete anger. "When?" he asked. I turned to face him. "Just hours ago," I replied. He growled out and then attacked Kalen bringing them both to the ground. Watching the two attractive men wrestle on the ground would be seriously entertaining... If this wasn't a serious situation.
1 minute Julian had the upper hand... Straddling Kalen and then striking him. A second later the roles would be reversed. With Kalen on top of Julian, I decided I had watched enough and begin trying to pull Kalen off of Julian, which did not work because I found myself stumbling and landing on the ground after receiving a strong forceful shove from kalen.
Kalen grabbed Julian's head and then begin to hit him hard against the ground, just before he grabbed Julian's neck and bit into him. I froze in shock and horror as blood and life was being taken away from Julian by Kalen. I got up and ran towards the both of them and jumped on Kalen's back making him lose his balance and drop Julian.
Throwing me off of him, I closed my eyes as my head hit the ground, feeling light headed from the impact. When I opened my eyes I immediately noticed Kalen stalking me. I shook my head no and begin to crawl backwards. "Kalen what are you doing?" I asked. He didn't answer, he just kept moving towards me in predatory mode. I kept crawling until I bumped into a tree. I had nowhere to go. Kalen grabbed my neck and I screamed out, in fear for my life. I tried with everything in me to push Kalen away but he was sturdy as a mountain in this mode. "Kalen!" I heard someone call out; kalen's large body blocked my view.
Hands wrapped around Kalen's head and neck and in less than a minute, kalen's head was ripped off. I gasped for air as my neck was finally free and I could breathe again. Panting, I looked at Marlowe who was watching me closely. "Are you alright?" He asked. Breathing heavily I responded, "don't worry about me worry about Julian, please help him." I requested.
Marlowe searched the ground until his eyes finally landed on Julian "oh no!" He whispered, just before running to him. Julian was still lying on the ground where Kalen had left him. Blood still spilling from his neck. Marlowe bit into his wrist and held it against Julian's mouth. "Moon, get help now!" Marlowe shouted.
I ran into my home and got Ember and Logan, Ember's mate. "What happened?" Ember asked. Kalen and I came to talk, he got forceful with me, Julian came out to help me and they got into a fight. Kalen bit Julian, I stopped him then Kalen pushed me to the ground and started walking towards me, I crawled away until I bumped into a tree. Kalen picked me up and began choking me, Marlowe saved me." I retold. "Where's Kalen, did he kill him?" Ember asked. I nodded my head yes. We ran outside to Marlowe bending over Julian's body.
"He's dead," Marlowe announced. I turned to look at him. "Julian... Is dead," my face dropped. All the life felt like it was really sucked out of me now, literally. "He can't be," I replied. I ran to where they were on the ground and smacked Julian to wake him up. He did nothing, I bit into his arm, nothing. I bit myself and tried to feed him, nothing. Finally... I bent down and kissed him, nothing. He was gone.... Julian was gone.
