A/N: This chapter's going to be dedicated all to Ghirahim because I didn't write about Ghirahim in the last chapter... Sorry how bad it SUCKS... I've been having problems with my brain...

~Ghirahim's POV~

"... And many more!" Everyone sang to me. Our house, might as well say mansion, was bustling with all the Twili in the realm. Luckily our house was very spacious. I sighed, my poker face acting as a mask. "Come on Ghirahim, lighten up and enjoy this." Midna said as she glared at me. I sighed again and took her advice. Smiling I forced my glance on the humongous cake set before me. There were candles all around the cake, but none were lit. Good thing too. Last time I blew out candles, I was about five, and one of the candles fell over and caught the rug and the table on fire... My fault of course. My grin spread wider as I recalled my parents expressions. "Geez, Child, I didn't say smile like a homicidal serial killer." Midna said. She meant that I had a creepy smile on my face. I wiped the grin from my face. I hated how she was older than me, it gave her more privileges. "Time to open presents, darling!" Mom said gleefully as she handed me a very small orange gift wrapped box. I looked at he box and slowly opened it, making sure not to rip any paper. "Come on, Ghirahim... It's your birthday, really RIP into the presents!" Dad said, over enthusiastically. I hunched my shoulders, but did as told. The length of my fingernails was normal, considering l was a demon. 'Wow...' Was all I thought when I pulled a dark gray iPhone 5 out of the box. "Happy 12th birthday!" My family said to me. Midna whipped hers out and began gliding her fingers across the dimly lit surface. Hers looked very different from mine. It was jet black with green designs that matched the ones on her body. "What's your number?" She asked, not bothering to look up at me.

(A/N: Before I let Ghirahim say this, THIS PHONE NUMBER AND ALL OTHER NUMBERS ARE COMPLETELY FAKE IN EVERY WAY, DON'T CALL THEM!!!!!)

"1-(803)-123-4567." I told her, curious about all the things I could do with the, now, precious gift. "Thanks, I'll text you later and you'll have my number, kay?" My big sister said. I nodded, a my signature smirk on my face. I yawned, even though it was midday, tiredly.

~10 hours later~

I scrubbed furiously at my hair as I stood in the shower. 'How dare Midna...' I thought as I moved my feet to dodge the bits of cake, now on the bottom of the shower floor, that had gotten stuck in my hair. She had 'accidentally' pushed over the nearly sky-high cake, covering me in the delectable food. I closed my eyes as the nearly scalding water pelted against my face, easing a slight headache I had. I reached for the shower nozzle and turned the water off. I got out, dried off and got dressed. I only wore a pair of black boxers. I then walked out of the bathroom and stumbled into my... Excuse me, OUR room. My sister, Midna, and I still shared a room together. I'm supposed to get my own room when I'm either 15 or 16, but I'll be gone to the Warriors High School then. We have to stay there until we reach certain qualifications to pass, which I'll certainly pass within my first few years... If I don't have any 'distractions'. The only problem with going that the school was that it was in the Light Realm, there's no easy way to get there and back. Magic's the key and I don't have much of that... "So, Ghirahim..." A familiar voice called. "Ready to finally take me up on that offer?" Midna asked, emerging from the shadows. "What... Are you talking about?" I asked, intrigued. "I thought that since you're finally 12 and I'm 13 we could finally run away from this horrid place..." Midna said, walking towards the window then leaning on the window pane. My eyes widened. She couldn't be serious... Could she? The window creaked as she pushed it open and looked out. Swinging her legs over the windowsill she looked at me and asked, "Coming? Cuz I'm leaving with, or without you." She smiled, that signature smile that showed off her fang. "I-No! Why would I want to do that?! This place has exactly what I want and need. It fits YOUR needs too!" I argued. "Ghirahim," Midna said as she turned her head towards the moon. "We HAVE to leave! Do you not see what they're doing to us? Go eavesdrop by their room, I know you do." Midna said as she glanced at me over her shoulder. I rolled my eyes and tiptoed towards their room, highly doubting Midna. "-eep them here with us, of course!" Mom yelled at dad. "They have to go, you know it's only a matter of time before the kids figure it out!" Dad countered. "Maybe they won't!" Mom cried. "Maybe, Aurora, maybe..." Dad said, sitting on the bed and holding his head in his hands. Mom sat down beside dad. "Demise..." Mom was clearly speechless. I cocked my head to the side and backed away from their bedroom door. I, too, was speechless. I walked back to our room and brushed my snowy hair from in front of my face. "See? We have to go now." Midna said as she looked at me, pleading with her eyes. I didn't say anything, I had become completely paralyzed. Midna left the windowsill and patted me on the back, comforting me. "Ok, I'm coming with you, just let me get something..." I whispered as I walked to the library, and took a book from the pedestal, the one I'm not supposed to know about. It a was rather thick book, a magic book which held all the spells I needed for Midna and me to survive. I scurried back towards our room and clenched the book close to my chest. "What is... Never mind, let's just go." Midna said as she hopped out of the window. I gasped, but then remembered that we were on the bottom floor. I hopped out after her and asked, "Where are we going to go?" We began walking towards the Mirror of Twilight. "We're going to the Light Realm, it's the only place our parents won't go." Midna said as we walked up the stairs and looked at the mirror. "Ready?" I asked. She turned to me with a completely dumbfounded expression. "YOU'RE ready to go? You? ... Wow... And I'm supposed to ask you that... I'm supposed to ask you that, Child," Midna gasped. "You stole my thunder..." Her expression changed to fake sadness. I rolled my eyes and touched the Mirror of Twilight, causing it to illuminate an eerie light. I took one last glanced at our old house, before looking at Midna. "You could always stay..." Midna said, looking rather disappointed. I quickly shook my head quickly saying, "There's no way I could stay after what mom and dad were arguing about... I don't even really know what that whole thing was about, anyway... All I know is that we can never EVER come back." I said, I thought it was something very mature for my age. "Ok... Then lets go, Child." Midna said as she grabbed my arm and activated the Mirror. I could feel myself being broken down into tiny squares and being teleported to the forbidden Realm of Light. There was a sudden flash of some kind of dark light, if it were even possible for such a thing to exist. I opened my eyes to see Midna lying right beside me also something was weighing down on my chest. When I looked it was nothing but the magic book. I excitedly flipped the pages, looking for the spell that would be most important. The summoning spell, it could summon anything we wanted or needed. "Child, where are we?" Midna asked, looking around. I hadn't given it much thought, but decided to look around nonetheless. Wow, the scenery was kinda scary and beautiful at the same time. The scorching heat came from the sun that had risen right above us. The sand was a reddish-orange hue, corresponding along with the hills and dunes behind them. If I had to explain the landscape in one word... I'd use... Beautiful. "Wherever we are we have to leave." I said as I began frantically flipping through the pages of the book, again. "What are you looking for?" Midna asked as she peered over to look at the pages. "Ah-ha! There it is!" I shouted in victory. "What were you looking for anyway?" Midna asked. "Teleportation spell, duh." I said. "Why would you even use that when you don't even know the world we're in now, you don't even know where we are." Midna criticized. "Yeah... I can tell you one thing though, any place must be better than here and this UNBEARABLE heat." I said as I snapped my fingers and appeared in front of an log cabin, which looked conveniently uninhabited. "Well... This will have to do, huh?" Midna said smiling as she walked into the empty house and looked around. "It's not perfect, but it'll do." Midna's voice echoed. Great, just great. We're living in an abandoned cabin in the woods and we're basically fugitives, but I think we'll make it by just fine. Thanks to Midna's leadership... And there's no way that we could forget my smartness.
