~Link's POV~

~Surface~

Why did this have to happen to me? I was captured in a bag and thrown into what I think is a cage of sorts. I was sitting in a dark room, made up of only big white walls and there's a small window in the door. There's also a small food bowl along with a water bowl right beside it. Sadly, neither one was filled. I tried to explore the room a little more, but something was holding me back. I turned around, only to be met by my tail, tucked between my legs, and a thick looking something that rattled when I moved it. I sighed and sat down and curled up into a ball, trying to make myself invisible. 'Where's Crystal? She should be here... Dark, you're there... Right?' I asked him. 'Yeah, I'm still here!' He exclaimed, causing my head to hurt a little. 'Calm down... Do you know where Crystal is?' I asked, fiddling with the Shadow Crystal. 'Not sure, but she'll come looking for you soon enough.' Dark reassured. I didn't have anything to say so I tried to sleep. 'Uh... Link.' Dark got my attention. 'Yeah?' I responded. 'Do you think I could come out?' Dark asked, kind of quietly. 'Sure, I wouldn't mind the company.' I thought as I smiled. Next thing I knew, Dark appears right in front of me. "Hi." Dark said, his voice sounding rusty. I wonder if he ever really used it before he was stuck with me. Dark sat down beside me and cleared his throat. "Seems you're BOUND to be here." Dark said, smirking. I grinned a little, too. It was kind of funny. "You still can't speak Hylian can you?" Dark asked. "No!" I barked gleefully. "Clearly not... It's actually a shame that I'll never get to hear your voice... It's also a shame that I can understand the Animal Language." Dark said, semi-sympathetically. I rolled my eyes and uncurled myself from the uncomfortable position I was in. I sat up, leaning against the wall, and putting my legs straight out in front of me. I was matching the way Dark was sitting. "Why do you look so much like me?" I whimpered. "I'm not sure, maybe we'll find out later." Dark said rubbing my head. My tail wagged slightly and my ears laid down to dodge his hand. Suddenly I heard the creaking of the door to this room being open, letting in a harsh light. Dark gasped and returned to my mind. A very tall man walked into the room, followed by a lady who was fairly shorted than him. "See, darling. He's like a child, don't you think." He said as he walked towards me. I growled once he got too close for my comfort. "Calm down, boy." He said as he kneeled in front of me. I lunged at him, but I was stopped by the rattling thing. "Look, you're ok here. We're not going to hurt you." The man said in a comforting voice. I stopped my attack and went back towards the wall. "Ganon, stop it. You're scaring him!" The blond lady said. She was wearing a long white dress that had pink designs and sequins on it. "Uh... Speak." Ganon commanded. I barked softly, forcing a look of confusion on Ganon's face. "Ok, we're apparently going to have to teach him how to speak in Hylian. Think that'll be fun, Zelda?" Ganon asked the lady. "That would be fantastic." Zelda said. "I know you want these chains off, so I'll make you a deal. You be a good boy and I'll take them off, ok?" Ganon walked closer to me and undid the chains that were bounding me to the wall. Ganon then placed his hand on my head and began rubbing it in a soothing manner. I was surprised to see how fast I warmed up to him and I'm pretty sure Dark was too. 'You're too trusting... That's probably gonna get you killed one of these days.' Dark warned. 'Doubt it.' I sharply retorted. "Come on, boy." Ganon said, leading me out of the room. "Do you have a name?" Zelda asked, she wasn't that far behind us. I nodded my head and barked, "It's Link!" She cocked her head to the side. "Sorry, but I can't understand you..." Zelda said, hanging her head down, but quickly recovered. "I still can't believe there's still Hylians alive. Where did you come from?" Zelda asked. I put my hand on my chin then pointed skyward. "You came from the clouds?! This is a scientific breakthrough! For years scientists have been trying to agree if there really is an island in the sky or if it were a myth! You are a gift!" Zelda exclaimed as she pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged her back, awkwardly. "Ok, we'd better start teaching him how to speak Hylian." Ganon said, forcing Zelda to release me. We kept walking down a long red carpet in the middle of the hallway, until we stopped by a small room that had two beds, one leaf green and another midnight black. It also had something very big and flat stuck to the wall, which was a warm shade of red. A large closet also made an appearance in the room. 'Looks nice, wouldn't you say?' Dark asked me. He clearly had been admiring the room. 'Yeah, if you ask me I'd say that it's pretty fancy looking.' I thought back, looking around. "Come on, little one. We need to get you dressed in something a little more your size, if that's ok with you." Zelda said as she basically dragged me into another room I'd failed to notice. She forced me to sit down on a luxury sofa. 'These people must be rich!' Dark exclaimed in my head. 'Must be...' I quietly thought. Zelda rushed back out, holding several different colored long shirts. "They're tunics, I was trying to get one that would fit you and you'd like!" She exclaimed. "So," she said, placing all the tunics on the sofa I was sitting on. "Which one do you like best, I mean color wise?" Zelda asked. I stood up and looked at all the colors. The ones that caught my eye were fiery red, icy blue, rich violet and dark green. I pointed to the four mentioned tunics. Zelda nodded and took the others back into the other part of the room. I studied the tunics closer, since I had no fashion sense it would be kind of hard for even me to pick. 'Help?' I asked Dark. 'Sure... You don't have a stone cold heart so it wouldn't be the blue one... You aren't very compassionate and clear with your emotions so not red. You CLEARLY aren't very smart nor sophisticated so no violet... I'd say go with the green, you're pretty mellow and relaxed. Also, it just seems like it was made for you.' Dark said, sounding kind of like Karane... How I miss the clouds and its quirky inhabitants. I grinned as I my memories caught up with me, but quickly faded when I remembered the Remlits... Stupid Remlits. I picked up the dark green tunic and looked at it... The color actually did suit me. Zelda came back and grinned when she saw my tail wag as I looked at the dark green tunic. "Would you like to try it on?" She asked, motioning towards a smaller room that was inside the room. I nodded and walked into the room, closing the door behind me. I was about to take off my shirt, until I realized that Dark was still with me. 'Dark, I have to get dressed... Do you think you could come out and go to a different place than this?' I asked. 'Ok.' Dark said as he appeared in front of me then crawled under the wood, that had some space underneath it, to get to the siding stall. ... Ok. I quickly undressed, except for my pants, and pulled the tunic over my head. It fell down to my knees and was kinda loose, but that's how I like my clothing. 'You can come back now.' I thought to Dark, who hurriedly retuned to my side. 'See, told you so!" He shouted as he returned to my thoughts. I shook my head at him, smiling a bit. I walked out of the room and back to Zelda, who was smiling. "That looks great on you, but there's a few things missing." She said as she walked back into another room. "Here, put these on." She said as she handed me a floppy... Thing that was the same color as my new tunic. I looked at the thing, a confused look showing on my face. "This is a hat." Zelda said as she took the hat from me and put it on my head, it gripped my head quite nicely. "These are tights." She said as she pointed to the room I had came out of. "Put those on in place of the pants you have on now." I walked back to the room, closed the door and Dark went into the stall beside mine again. I dressed myself and headed out towards Zelda. Who then pushed me towards a full body mirror, giving me a good look at myself. 'I look good...' I thought, admiring myself. 'Yeah, you do look better.' Dark joked. I smiled at myself and Dark. "Come on, we have to show you the rest of the house!" Zelda said enthusiastically as she walked out of the room. I giddily walked after her. 'That woman has a bubbly personality.' Dark said, snickering a bit. 'Yeah, she does... I like it!' I thought cheerfully.

~Ghirahim's POV~

"Finally..." Midna said as she finished dusting the last dresser. I had been cleaning the floor, kitchen and the bathroom. I'd have to say that I hated the bathroom most, TONS of weird insects in there. I looked down at my clothes that were dirtier than dirt itself. Midna's stone-helmet-mask thing and her cloak were dusty too. She wore a black cloak that had a squillion designs on it. It was something that she took before we left. "We need to get clean clothes, ours are filthy." I suggested. "Ya, you're right, for once." Midna smirked. "Anything in that Spell Book of yours?" Midna asked, watching me flip through the pages. "... Here they are, the Curse of Want and the Spell of Need. These should get us anything and everything!" I exclaimed, but my excitement was shattered. "Wait, we can't wish for Complete chaos, world domination." Midna smiled deviously. "Or killing anyone..." I finshed. "Dang it... I was hoping to take down Justin Beiber..." Midna said, disappointed. I couldn't say I wasn't either. My eyes narrowed, "Even though I hate JB as much as you do, don't ever, EVER, say that name around me again." I warned. "Ok, ok... Geez." Midna said as she motioned her hand towards the spells. "I know, I know..." I stated bluntly. I read over the enchantment a couple of times before I actually said it. Since the spells kind of consist of the same ability, there was only one incantation.

"Oh, great spells of want and need.
I call you forth, but not for greed.
Objects I want, things I need.
To this spell, harken and heed.
Speed delivery is what I desire.
My need is great, my need is dire."

I finished the spell, but nothing happened. I closed my eyes and concentrated, searching for that magic surge. Still nothing. "It didn't do anything to me... Did it do anything to you?" I asked Midna who was staring down at her hands. "I-I feel... Different... Maybe it worked... Lets see... How do I cast the spell?" She asked. "Just say what you want then point to where the object will go... If you want to replace something, touch it and say what you want it to be. If you want to get rid of something just point at it and say 'remove'." I read. "Ok," She touched the antique sofa and said, "Luxury." The antique sofa turned into a luxury velvet sofa that looked very plush. "Cool." We said in unison. I hope she does't overuse this power. Midna has always been excited over power... Weird how a little bit of control of something can drive someone over the edge.
