Sam's P.O.V.
I followed Willow inside with Dean and Cas in tow, having their own conversation. I looked down at her, as we walked and just watched her for a second. The way her hips swayed as she walked, how her hair bounced on her shoulders, and the way her injury didn't seem to phase her. I laughed to myself, thinking about how Dean and I turn into giant babies when we get hurt, but Willow makes it seem like nothing more that a scraped knee. 'This girl is tough..' I thought to myself.
We went inside and I looked around, it was nice. Not the normal hunter's place.
"You live here alone?" I asked.
"This is where I grew up, and I promised my mom I would take care of it before she died.." She said looking up at me. For the first time in a while, I had butterflies.. She is beautiful.
Her hair was blonde and wavy, and falls down the middle of her back, perfect olive skin, and fierce blue eyes. She smiled at me sweetly, tucking her hair behind her ear as she walked over to her couch in the living room, tugging my hand to follow her. I wrapped my fingers around hers absentmindedly, and she squeezed softly. I blinked, and looked at Dean and Cas who were watching me intently from the other side of the couch. I raised my eyebrow questioningly, Dean just smirked and winked.
We sat down and I studied her shoulder, the gash was pretty deep and would need a few stitches. "You're definitely gonna need stitches. But we should put your shoulder back first." I said looking at her. She nodded, "Okay, do what you need to do."
I wrapped my hand around her shoulder and grabbed her arm, "Ready?" I asked. "Just do it, Sam! It won't hurt." She giggled. "Okay." I popped it back quickly, without her even flinching. "Can you move it okay?" I asked. She stood up and moved it around like nothing ever happened. "Yep! Let me go get the stuff for my stitches." She said, bouncing off to the bathroom.
"That girl is tough! She didn't even flinch." Dean said, shocked.
"I know!" I agreed.
"She is very brave." Cas said, "She just took down a shifter today. And she won't let me heal her unless its life or death. She tells me to 'save my mojo'." He chuckled.
"Ugghh! Dammit! Hey, can I get some help in here?? I'm too short." I chuckled and went to help the damsel in distress.
I walked into the bathroom to find her standing on top of the toilet. She turned to look at me, "Sam! Perfect! Can you just lift me up a little higher? I can all most reach it!" She grinned. I laughed and wrapped my hands around her hips, raising her up.
"Yay! Got it!" She chimed. I pulled her to me, carrying her bridal style back to the living room.
"I did it Cas!" She beamed.
"Nice job, Short Round!" Cas chuckled and shook his head.
"Wait, you know Indiana Jones?!" Dean said.
"Willow and I have been going through her collection of movies recently, and we just watched all of the Indiana Jones moves the other day."
Dean laughed and patted Cas's shoulder. Willow pointed to the coffee table, "You can watch TV, if you want, Dean. I've got Dish, so you can watch whatever."
"Sweet! Thanks!" He winked, she blushed and rested her head on my shoulder.
I sat on the couch with her in my lap, and she handed me an alcohol swab to clean the cut with. Then some peroxide to pour on it, and she got the sutures ready for me. She never fliched while I stitched her up, she just focused on what ever Dean had put on to watch.
"Alright, you're good to go, hon." I said tying up her last stitch and covering it with gauze.
"Thanks, Sam!" She smiled, "Oh, by the way, y'all are welcome to stay here as long as you want. I've got plenty of room. And I'll even cook for you! Who's hungry?"
"I could eat." Dean said.
"Yeah, me too." I replied.
"What do you like? I was gonna make a pizza, if that's okay?" She said.
"Ooh, pizza sounds great!" Dean smiled, "Got any beer, by chance?"
"Yeah, in the fridge. Make yourselves at home." She said, hopping out of my lap.
After we ate, we decided to go to bed. Dean took an empty room and I went to the bed room at the end of the hall.
I took my shirt off, just as Willow came out of the bathroom.
"Oh! Oh, Sam, hah. You startled me.. " She blushed.
"Oh, uh, sorry. Is this your room?" I asked.
"Yeah, it was my parent's but I took it after they died." She grinned, I chucked.
Just then her phone lit up on the bedside table, she smiled and answered.
"Hey, Uncle Bobby! Sorry I didn't call earlier, I had some surprise company.
Yeah, Sam and Dean Winchester.
You do?
Well, Sam's right here, wanna say hi?
Oh, okay...
Goodnight.
I will."
She hung up and smiled at me, widely.
"What..?" I asked.
"You know, Bobby Singer?" She walked over to me.
"Yeah, he practically raised Dean and I. The closest thing we have to a father." I looked down at her.
"He's my uncle! Well, a close family friend, but he's always been my Uncle Bobby!" She giggled, "He calls me every night, to make sure I'm okay. Tried to make me come live with him after my parents died, but I told him what I promised my mom, and he let it go. He's the only family I have left, really.."
"Ohh." Was all I could say. All I could think about was how normal she seems, even though she's a hunter.
She yawned, and stretched as she crawled onto the bed, she bat her eyes at me and pat the space next to her. "You can sleep here if you like, there's plenty of room."
"Are you sure? I don't mind taking the couch." I said.
She nodded, "I'm sure."
I smiled and slid my jeans off as I sat on the bed.
I laid down, and she looked at me with her big blue, sleep filled eyes, and smiled. "Good night, Sam." She said softly.
"Good night, Willow." I yawned, closing my eyes. It feels so good to be in a real bed for once.
