3 Years Later
It's been three years, and it's almost crazy to believe how well they've gone by. Sam and Dean started hunting again a few months after the boys were born. My mojo came back full force, and fully developed. Once the twins started walking, they found out they could do the same things Mommy could. Their wings are so adorable too, I cried the day they showed me. Riley's wings are light, like mine, but instead of a pink hue they have a golden color. Aiden's wings were a charcoal color with a red hue on the bottom.
Once they started talking, which to my amazement, was a lot quicker than I expected, Aiden would tell me how he didn't want to sleep in his room when I would put them to bed, that he wanted to sleep with "Unca Dean" because he felt safe with him. One night, after Dean had put Aiden to sleep in his bed, and came back to the living room where Sam and I were watching tv. I noticed that Dean looked a little disturbed about something so I decided to ask him.
"Are you alright, Dean?" I asked.
He didn't notice that I spoke to him, and was just staring into space.
"Dean." Sam said a bit louder.
"What?" He asked, oblivious to what was happening around him.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Well, I asked Aiden why he always wanted to sleep with me and he said 'Because of the scary man in my closet.' And I asked him what he meant..."
He couldn't even finish his sentence before we heard a loud scream from Dean's room. I was by my son's side in an instant, clutching him to my chest protectively.
"M- Mommy!" Aiden cried.
"Mommy's right here baby. I'm here."
"Daddy!" Riley cried from down the hall, Sam bolted to him.
"Mommy, the scary man tried to take me away..." Aiden said, burying his face in my hair.
"Do you know the scary man's name?" I asked.
He nodded, "Lucifer."
My heart sank to my knees and I held him closer as I looked around the room. Dean came up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder, making me jump.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He said.
"It's okay. I'm just a little on edge.. My kids are in danger." I explained. Dean nodded, and Sam came walking in with Riley clinging to him.
"Brother!" Aiden said, reaching for his twin. Sam took both of the boys in his arms as they clung to each other. I heard the flutter of wings behind me, and the chilling sound of my least favorite uncle's voice.
"Willow! How 'ya doin' kiddo?" He smirked.
I balled my fists, turned around and punched him in the face.
"I was a lot better before you started scaring my children!" I shouted.
"It was all in good fun." He said, holding his nose.
"'Good fun'?!" I screeched, "What are you doing here, Lucifer? What do you want with my kids?" I demanded.
"I just wanted to meet my great nephews." He smirked, evilly.
"The truth, asshat!" Dean said.
"Okay, okay. You caught me.. Willow, have you ever wondered why the boys are so strong for their age?"
"Maybe. Why?" I said, crossing my arms.
"It's because they don't just have angel blood. Sam's demon blood is also running through their little veins!"
"So?" I asked.
"'So?' So, that makes them two of the most powerful creatures on the planet! " he exclaimed.
"I am aware of this, but what does it have to do with you?" I scoffed.
"Well, I just don't want their powers going to waste is all. I could teach them so much!" He grinned.
I flung Lucifer across the room and pinned him against the wall, "Now, you listen to me you prick! You are not to come anywhere near my boys again, or I swear, I will rip you limb from limb and feed you to your own hell hounds!" I boomed, and my voice echoed throughout the hallways of the otherwise quiet bunker.
"Point taken. I'll leave you alone then." He said. And with a snap of his fingers, he was gone.
"Mommy? Are you okay?" Riley asked softly, making my anger disappear.
"Yes baby, I'm fine." I smiled and took him into my arms. "Everything is going to be just fine."
