"Here," I angrily spoke as the detention monitor called out names. I have no idea what his name is, but I really don't care at this moment. All I know is that I am pissed off that Jake lied to me about knowing about the letter. He confessed that he overheard that witch Augustina talking. God, I needed to get rid of this habit where I repeatedly sit there cussing everything and everyone out. It's just that I am so, well, I don't know how to put it without stringing a bunch of profanities together at the end of it.
"Miss. Dawson," I glared at the man who was now standing in front of me.
"What?" I snarled at him. His eyes widened, but only for a split second. He narrowed his eyes at me, and came to eye level with me.
"Do not speak to me like that. I will already be seeing quite alot of you, so do not begin." And with that statement, he left. I began cussing at him in my head, but stopped. I realized he was right in the way he was treating me. I was nearly done with my math homework as I looked down. Hm, I should do this more often. That was wicked cool.
"Mr. Anderson, why are you late?" I looked to the door as a really cute guy walked in. I have never seen him before. The really cute guy just shrugged his shoulders as he took a seat. I heard the teacher mutter something like, "I wish I could get a word out of you once in a while."
I looked to the right back corner and saw Jake trying to get my attention. I looked up at the teacher to make sure he wasn't looking, and stuck my middle finger up at Jake. I looked at Jake as I saw him mouthing "F*** me?"
I nodded my head up and down once as he smirked, and looked away. Oh God, why does he have to be one of those people that think I really would want to do that to them. I shook my head and looked to the middle row in the middle of the classroom to see cute guy looking down folding paper. He finally could not fold it anymore. I saw him fold his hand over the paper and throw it to me. I opened it slowly as it read,
'Quit staring at me.'
I blushed madly red. How could he see me staring at him.
'I am not staring at you. Don't flatter yourself.'
I scribbled a few swear words at the end as if I could not help it. I crumbled the paper into a ball, and I threw it at him. Lucky he caught it, turned around, and hid it all the while the detention guy looked up and around the room. After a minute, he finally went back to his computer. Stupid detention guy. I saw Egostical Jerk chuckled silently as he walked out the room. I was about to protest unfair that was until I heard a booming voice saying,
"Everyone is free to leave." I looked down at my watch increduously, looked at it, and tapped it. It read 5:00 pm. No way two hours could have passed by. That was quite impossible. No freaking way, I kept repeating over and over again.
"Want a ride?" I looked up to see Jake in front of me. I glared at him, and was about to say I will take the bus until I realized the bus left at 3:30. I looked down in defeat, and nodded my head.
"It doesn't mean I am going to talk to you," I spat at him. I threw my things in my purse, and walked out angrily to go to my locker as Jake followed behind quickly and laughed. He actually laughed, why was he laughing?
"Hey what are you laughing at you-you" I had no idea what I was about to say, until a word popped into my head. I remembered Jake once told me he hated liars with a passion, and he can never be one of them, "Liar."
Immediately, he stopped laughing as he seriously told me, "Chloe, I never lied to you. I was just messing with you, and you would not hear me out."
"Forget it jackie. I will find another ride." I slammed my locker shut as I began to walk down the empty hallway.
"Oh, come on Chloe!" He shouted after me, "I will only kidding."
