I opened my eyes slowly, and found eyes staring at me. I literally fell off of my bed. I heard laughter and saw Jay on the floor laughing really hard. I looked at my clock, it read 9:07 am.
“Jaden, don’t laugh too hard or you’ll do one of two things,” I told him, “either cry or this…” And I dumped the water from my water bottle (it was on the counter next to my bed) all over his jeans. He stopped laughing. I began running as he began chasing me. We heard the doorbell ring, but since Jay was still chasing me, I opened it as I ran away. I came to the front door once again and saw it was my mom.
“Mom?” I said. Jay stopped running too. My mom looked him up and down, and said,
“Dear, if you like there are clean underwear and jeans in the guest room. I’m sure they will fit.” I burst out laughing once my mom finished. I was on the floor laughing, and then I saw Jay approach, and say,
“So, I heard if someone laughs too hard: one will either cry so hard or…” I stopped laughing, and yelled,
“Don’t even think about it.” He took the flowers out of the vase and dumped the water in the vase all over my pants.
He started laughing, until he heard my mom gasp. Aweeeeee man, are we both in trouble or what? Jaden stopped laughing and I got off of the floor. She said in a very serious tone,
“That is it. Chloe, you are living with me and your father in Florida.”
“Mom, no please no mom!!!”
“No if or buts, it is final…” she said, then turned to Jaden,
“You will be going back to school and that IS final.”
“Okay mother,” Me and Jaden muttered at the same time. Yeah, my mom isn’t his mom, but she acts like his mom at times. It is really weird actually. Then it suddenly hit me…I am going to a new school in a NEW state, I could be anyone who I want to be. How sweet is that?
“Chloeee,” My mom said as she snapped her fingers in my face.
“Yes mommy?” I asked her sweetly with my innocent smile.
“Chloe, stop acting like nothing happened here,” was all she said as she went to the kitchen. Oh boy, this is going to be so much fun. I heard my phone ringing “hey, hey…you, you…I don’t like your girlfriend,” by Avril Lavinge. That was Aaron’s ringtone. I went to follow the song, and found it sitting under the table in the living room.
Me: Hey.
Aaron: Hey Chloe.
Me: We need to talk.
Aaron: Yeah I know.
Then he hung up the phone. I knew he would be over here soon, so I went up the stairs to change into a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, with a black tank top, and white cardigan. It was a cute outfit. I slipped on some black flats. As I was looking at my outfit, I decided to wear black converse. Then I took off my cardigan, and began to apply heavy make up such as dark, thick eyeliner. I used the pencil one first to outline, then used the liquid eyeliner to make it bolder and darker looking. I was about to put my cardigan back on until I realized that I forgot to put on foundation and mascara. So I put that on real quick, put on my cardigan, ran down the stairs to tell my mom Aaron was coming over, but once I got into the kitchen, Aaron was already there talking to my mom. I cleared my throat slightly, and each of them looked at me. My mom never met my eyes, but Aaron’s eyes met mine, and he looked very upset. At that moment, I knew my mom told him the news without meaning to. I felt my eyes tear up, and I regretted putting heavy makeup on at that moment.
