'And we have made it to the top," The black leader guy spoke with a heavy accent. I jumped up and down as soon as we got off the waterfall. That was the best climb I have ever had. It was even better than the sinkholes in Mexico. It felt great, I felt great.
"Chloe," I heard Jaden speak my name, and I turned to him. I grinned at him, and he smiled back. It wasn't a 'I feel bad for this girl' smile, but an actual sincere smile, and that made me laugh hysterically. "Why are you laughing?"
"Jaden!" I exclaimed as soon as the laughter died down, "That was incredibly amazing. I have this adrenaline rush in me, and it just..." I screamed loud. Not from frustation, but from pure excitment and happiness. I forgot about everything and everyone. It was just me relaxing and enjoying myself. I didn't have to worry about stupid relationships, life, or anything. I felt so free.
"Okay, wierdo," Jaden informed me, "I am hungry. Let's go eat." He began to walk in a direction that looked like it was going to take us no where. Also, people were walking in the opposite direction he was walking.
"Jaden?" I questioned. He stopped in his tracks,
"Yes Chloe?" He questioned back. When I didn't answer, he turned around to face me. I pointed behind me with my thumb.
"Right," was all he said, and began to walk in that direction.

"This is incredible food, but so expensive." Jaden spoke with a mouthful of food. I scrunched my face at the disgusting pig in front of me. I looked at my food, and suddenly felt not hungry. It wasn't because of Jaden's wonderful manners I was not eating, it was because I couldn't pretend anymore. I don't know how someone could bounce back from something like what I have been through. I know people have gone through worse in life, but this was by far the worst thing for me.
"Jay," Jaden stopped eating and looked up to my face when he recognized the pain and stress in my voice, "I want to leave back to the ship. You can stay here if you want, but I-"
Jaden cut me off, "Chloe, it's okay. We can go back. Let me just pay the check, K?" I nodded my head once without looking at him. I felt guilty that Jaden was going to come back with me, but he must of sensed I did not want to be alone right now. We got up from the table, and he put his arm around my waist. Niether of spoke during the hour it took us to get back to the cruise ship. We handed our passports to the security people, and they finally let us in five minutes later after making sure it was us. Once we arrived in our room, I spoke. I wasn't sure if I was speaking to myself or Jaden, but it helped get all of the things out on my mind,
"It hurts when you don't have a best friend anymore. It hurts when you can't talk to them anymore. I wanted to make it work, but it was truly impossible for there to be an us. I am moving to another state and am going to be farther from my best friend. He was a great guy. I feel like if I let him go, it won't work out between us. I just want there to be an us, an Aaron Docks and Chloe Dawson. Not Chloe Dawson and Aaron whatever the cruise his name is. I thought I could replace Aaron Docks with the cruise Aaron, but the replacement is just so stupid. He was nothing like the one I loved, the one I knew. Me and Aaron had history together, and when I think about it, it's more good than bad."
"Chloe, stop beating yourself up. What the heart wants is what the heart wants. Stop using your brain, and use your heart. What does it tell you?"
"That I want some chocolate," I sniffed. Jaden chuckled lightly, and spoke with a british accent while opening our room door,
"After you my lady," I smiled through the tears. I did not even realize when the tears arrived, but I did know one thing, what my heart was screaming at me the entire time:
I love Aaron Docks, and I need Aaron Docks.
"Jaden, do we having roaming charges on our cell phones?" I asked Jaden hopeful. I wanted to speak to Aaron. Jaden give me a bewildered look and exclaimed,
"Are you crazy Chloe? You trying to make your parents kill us. I already have to go back to school!"
"Oh, imagine that Jaden Sparks has to go to school," I rolled my eyes at him.
"Chloe, write a letter, so when we get back to Florida, he might respond. If he doesn't, sometimes things are not meant to be." Jaden suggested.
"When did you become so smart?" I teased Jaden although I knew he was right. I sighed as Jaden chuckled,
"When I found out I had to go back to school. I need to sound intelligent."
"You will never need to sound intelligent," I paused as he waited for me to continue. He held his breath in as I had an amused look on my face. His hands clenched on the table countertop as he waited, and then I finished, "Because you are already intelligent."

Aaron,
I don't know how to tell you all of this, but I am going to try. If you love me, you will respond. Please do not stop reading in the middle. Just please continue until you reach the end, okay? Please. Here goes nothing or something. When I left you in the kitchen that day, I thought it was the best decision I have made. I thought you were the biggest jerk because I believed you were playing with my heart, when it was me. It was me all along playing with my heart. Someone very intelligent once told me that, "the heart wants what the heart wants." I am starting to believe that is true. I went on this cruise, and met this guy.
Jaden was right. This is just more than a letter to Aaron. It was telling him the truth and how I felt about him. I heard a knock at my door. I got up annoyed, and hoped my thoughts would not leave. And when I opened the door, I came face to face with Aaron. Cruise Aaron.

Author's note: thanks for reading. I did have a writer's block, but because I really want the cruise to end. It is just blahhh now. I really want her to go back to school. Um, yeah that is about. I know there isn't much detail, but I will fill that in later. Thanks for reading.
