And one day 1D is doing a radio interview so a girl asks if they can play the interview in class and the teacher says yes. Then liam mentions how he's dating niall and stuff. The girls start fangirling and even the boys think its cool. Bonus for liam and they boys picking niall up from school and blushing niall. "

Work Text:

Niall had met Liam before Liam was put in the boyband One Direction. They had met at a concert of their favourite singer and had been friends ever since. It had taken some time before they eventually got together, but when they did - after knowing each other for months - they were inseparable from that moment on.

Liam was very busy though, being in the most famous boyband in the world. Niall was still at school, so he couldn't travel around with Liam.

They couldn't see each other that often, especially because it was a secret relationship and they couldn't do anything in public. Niall had only told his parents and brother. None of his friends in school knew that he was together with Liam. Not that Niall had many friends in school, but still. Niall didn't mind, though. He wasn't a big fan of attention and he didn't really like the thought of being in magazines and newspapers. He wouldn't mind if it eventually did become that way, because one day they were going to tell the world that Liam and Niall were together, but he just didn't mind that it wasn't.

Of course Niall would love to have an open relationship with Liam. He would love to see Liam more often and go out in public with him. He'd love to show everyone that Liam was his boyfriend. Also, it was an appealing idea that people would finally understand why Niall liked One Direction that much, why he felt so proud when people mentioned Liam's name, why Niall made everyone shut up when Liam was singing a solo. It would be so amazing if he and Liam didn't have to be a secret anymore.
Niall was sitting in class, bored trying to follow the film the class was watching.

He couldn't pay much attention, his thoughts constantly drifted to Liam. It wasn't much of a problem, though. It was the last week before the holidays and they basically didn't do anything in class.

The vibration of his phone woke Niall from his daydream. He slipped it out of his pocket, not even bothering to see if the teacher was looking - it wasn't like she would care. Niall's face started to glow when he saw who the text was from. Liam.

Hey babe. I've got a surprise for you today! Hope you'll like it! Xx

Niall smiled at his phone. He loved it when Liam texted him, especially during a boring class.

I want to know what it is! X

Niall replied, but he knew Liam never spilled surprises.

Niall sighed happily, staring at the words on his screen. Liam said I love you often, but it still made Niall feel special. It always made him feel warm inside, happy.

At that moment, a bunch of girls started to giggle excitedly. One lifted her finger in the air, her friends all laughing and giggling. They clearly were about to ask the teacher something out of ordinary.
