This is just gonna be a little Drabble about this song because it makes me happy :)

Summary: The boys are sitting down in the recording studio trying to write a new song. Liam and Niall get a bit sentimental while doing so.

This is my one-shot :)

Work Text:

"Alright boys. So we need to start writing for the new album to be released soon. So I'm gonna leave the four of you to it, and I'll be back in a couple hours to see what you've got so far." Julian said to all four boys.

"Don't worry J, we've got it." Louis said, spinning in one of the chairs.

"Liam, I expect at least half a song done. Make sure that happens." Julian says pointing a finger at Liam.

"Will do, mate." Liam promised.

Julian just did a once over around the room before sighing and leaving the four boys to do their thing. He hopes that by the time he comes back, they will actually have song done and he won't come back to Liam and Niall snogging and Harry and Louis messing around in the booth.

"So boys, we need to write a new single. Any ideas?" Liam asks to the room.

"Let's write a song about Ireland. It is the best country in the world anyways." Niall shrugs.

"For the hundredth time Niall, we're not writing a song about Ireland." Louis rolled his eyes.

"Do you have any other ideas, Lewis?" Niall spat.

"Actually, I do. Let's write a song about me dragging Naughty Boy to the ground." Louis suggests seriously.

"That's a horrible idea Lou. We can't just write a song about that." Harry says.

"Actually, that's a really fucking good idea." Niall laughs and Liam slaps him.

"No, it's not a good idea. We could get in serious trouble." Liam says.

"No, Li, think about it. If we sang it in a way that didn't actually portray what we're trying to say, but has a hidden message. It's brilliant!" Niall exclaims.

"Niall's right, Liam. We can just use lyrics that have a hidden meaning behind them." Louis says.

"I don't know mate, It sounds a little risky." Harry pipes in.

"Are you coming up with any other ideas Harold?" Niall snapped.

Louis looked at Niall, eyebrows furrowing. "Could you please watch your tone, Niall."

"This is never going to work. How about we just write a song about our love lives. We know a lot about those." Liam suggests.

"We have so many songs about our love lives already Payno!" Louis exclaims.

"No we don't." Liam defended.

"What about More Than This?"

"And Little Things."

"Never forget about They Don't Know About Us."

"Oh, and Loved You First."

"You and I."
