Summary: Liam and Niall have been dating for 3 years now. They've been together from before Liam became famous, and now that he's gone all the time, it only gets harder.

It's been two months since that horrible phone call Liam had with Niall.

Two months since Niall just hung up on him. Two months since Niall basically broke up with him. Two months since he's heard Niall's voice. Two months since he told Niall he loved him.

It's been two months since Liam's heart has shattered.

In these two months, Liam had concert after concert, recordings, interviews, promo, publicity stunts, and everything in between. These were the busiest two months of his life.

He's tried to call Niall, had tried to talk to him about this, but he never answers. The one time he did, it was just Louis telling him to stop calling and hung up. Liam still tried after that, but it went straight to the operator.

He thinks Niall changed his number.

It's just rolling into September and Liam is about to be in LA for three nights on his tour. He's playing the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena for 3 nights. It's absolutely insane and he's more than grateful.

It's just, the hard thing about going to LA is that he knows Niall is there. Liam's not quite sure if Niall still lives in their house, but judging by the bills Liam is getting, he assumes he is.

Of course Liam never stopped paying for Niall. He still pays for the house and the cars, and he even makes his best friend Andy sneak money into Niall's bank account. It's all for living purposes only.

That would also be a total lie, because Liam knows he's just trying to get Niall back. He still doesn't understand the exact reason why Niall left him, and he was determined to find out once he got in LA.

Liam landed in LA on the tenth of September, due to his flight being delayed. But he's finally back in California, man it felt good to be home.

He's currently sat in his van that's going to bring him to wherever he's staying. He doesn't know if he's going to their house, a hotel, Andy's house.

He decided to call Louis, and tell him he's in LA and ask how everything is. He's kept in some contact with Louis, but every time he tries to bring up Niall, Louis hangs up the phone.

The phone rings three times before finally Louis' voice comes through the phone, and Liam couldn't be happier.

"Hello?" Louis asks.

"Lou? It's me Liam." Liam says into the phone.

"Oh hey, uh, hold on a second." He hears Louis say and then there's a ruffle from the other side of the line.

"Alright, we're good. How are you?" Louis asks.

"I'm okay. Still not doing 100% but I'm trying." Liam frowned.

"Listen Liam, I understand where you're coming from. Niall's been a bloody mess for the past two months too. It's ridiculous really." Louis rolls his eyes.
