Chapter 8 - Fly By (Part I)

Three months had passed since that incident and I had completely lost hope. I can't keep expecting my near ones to keep dancing on my tunes. Trix has a whole company to handle while Louis is busy with his band's first album. I'm forbidden to tell anybody the name so my lips are sealed. A few texts here and there, skyped Louis once or twice, he slept off midway. I duly understand, he was very tired.

Louis and Harry live together and Zayn, Liam and Niall have their own flats. Talk about bromance.

I woke up to my noisy alarm to get ready for work. Having a silent breakfast with Nanna, I drove to work. Oh yes, I passed my driving test and bought a new car- black Porsche. Trix called me for a meeting and I joined. Trends had bagged a big project and she needed a troop of 5 photographers to represent it.

She talked about the essential points- the angles, colours and equipments as we dropped in a few details. "I've decided the team- Lucas, Josh, Eva and Alice. You all are going and since I can't go thanks to Chris, I want Aanya to be the head of this one" she smiled at me. "So go and pack your bags. You have a flight to catch tomorrow morning" she cooed. "That is all good Trix but where are we going?" I finally asked unable to keep my curiosity from bubbling out. "Oh I didn't tell you right.....you guys are going to.....London" she grinned.

My jaw dropped as I comprehended what an amazing boss I have. Now I understood why she wasn't going. It had nothing to do with her boyfriend, Chris, it was all about me.

The meeting ended with Alice and Josh kissing publicly out of excitement and me hugging Trix tightly for the massive favour she had done for me. "Well, I want you and Will to be together so this was the least I could do" she hugged me back. I was so happy but suddenly the thought of Nanna made me glum.

"How long?" I asked breaking away from her hold. "A week. Though the work is for 4 days only you have 3 days to enjoy sweetie! I don't mind as long as the company is paying!" she patted me on the shoulder as she left.

All this time I wanted to go to London to meet Louis but now I had a chance my stomach was lurching like crazy! What will Nanna say? How will Louis react? Was I being too clingy? Am I using Trix for myself? Everything is not the same anymore.......what about the paparazzi?

I walked to my cabin completely oblivious of my surroundings and when Lucas hugged me I snapped back to reality. I smiled at the doe-eyed boy. "At your service ma'am!" he bowed. "Tomorrow onwards Luke!" I said walking away.

Back home I called out for Nanna entering inside. She came out beaming with happiness as she hugged me. Yeah I know enough with the hugging.

"Trix told me!" she explained.

"Oh!"

"I was packing for you!" she said tugging me to my room."And I know you're worried about me but I have Jo! Trix is an amazing girl Aanya......she gets you all the time! Never loose her!" she chimed. "I know Nanna.....she has become very important in such a small time. But will you be alright without me?" I pouted. "Aanya I can look after myself and Jo is here.....so don't worry. If this trip brings you back to normal self I'm more than happy to see you off!" she explained. I sighed out of unsurity but Nanna encouraged me further. Finally she had completely convinced me to go to London. Packing done, we had the dinner before I strolled off to my bedroom. But my excitement jitters just wouldn't let me sleep. I tossed on the bed, smiling maniacally thinking of how he would react. It was not until 4 that finally sleep came over and I knocked off. Nanna soon woke me up for my 11 'o' clock flight and I reluctantly dragged myself to the airport kissing her goodbye.

As expected Josh and Alice sat together and Luke had saved me a place. I knew I hadn't slept enough and I would let sleep take over me so I offered that seat to Eva. Watching the beautiful scenery below I soon drifted into a peaceful sleep. Snapping my eyes open due to sudden commotion I realized we had reached. My stomach was churning with excitement as I climbed down the stairs. Once down I felt an arm snake around my waist as Luke asked, "So what's the plan boss?" I looked at Josh and Alice holding hands, their eyes filled with longing of a free day. The short blond Eva batted her eyelashes in an attempt to hide how exhausted she was while Luke looked at me intently. All waiting for me to bark orders. "I was thinking of visiting my old friend so.......no work for today?" I suggested. Their faces brightened up as we proceeded with the guy who had come to pick us up. Filling my huge purse with the essentials I left my colleagues to meet Louis.

"What's up?" I texted him. "Nothing much. We are at Sun and Moon studio trying to record a song.....actually we are hust fooling around! What are you up to?" he replied. "Nothing! Anyway I gotta go....work! Talk to you later!" I texted him back. "Yeah! Take care"  He still had no idea. I chuckled.

Caught a cab and soon I was standing in front of the studio.
