Jada Blue
Chapter Twelve
I woke up the sun streaming into my eyes from the tents only window. I stretched wide and grabbed my bag, to go take a shower and change. By the time I got back, mine and Aspasia’s dads were frying bacon and eggs on the mini stove. We all looked un-camping like. I mean, Kelly texted us saying bring your hotel packs. And we were automatically going to think camping? Naw. That’s something you just don’t do when your lives are filled with crazed paparazzi.
I was wearing a American Eagle polo and my skinny jeans. My shoes were the closest to camping that I had brought. My yellow converse. Aspasia was wearing something similar, except she was wearing a black wife beater and her checkered flannel mid arm sleeved shirt. Her hair was in a sloppy bun, her curtain surprisingly in a bump and not in a curtain that day. My hair was in a nice ponytail, with of course that chunk in front of my eyes.
I sat at a chair next to Aspasia and our mothers. I guess we were getting deep into conversations about something, but I wasn’t quite sure what, and either was Aspasia. I think we were both just happy our mothers were bonding as much as we were. All the mom’s soon joined the conversation.
Joey’s little sister Missy, Vince’s little sister Lola, Cruise’s little sister Mandy and Aspasia’s little sister Alana were off to the corner, talking about Joe Jonas or something little girls talk about with huge smiles on their faces.
My older sister Bri and oldest brother Kyle, Aspasia’s older sister Selena, Joey’s older brother Justin, and Castello’s older sister Kirsten and brother Brent were talking about their bad kid college stuff in the chairs next to us, and the dads (except Vince’s and Cruise’s, there moms and dads were divorced) were exchanging the BBQ secrets. My other older brother Andrew was trying to teach Aspasia’s little brother Parker how to break dance on the dirt patch. I was so happy that everyone’s families were getting together perfectly.
“Okay, we’re all going on a hike,” said Vince’s mother, “the Disney people persons said it would be easier if we split up into groups so no one gets lost. SO I think families would just be easier, right?”
No one protested, so we decided that would be a great idea.
“So,” my dad hoped the rocks across the lake like thing, and my family followed, “guess what’s going on when you guys are done with tour?”
“I really don’t know,” I smiled and tried to concentrate on not falling into the river thing, “I hope Kelly gets us a house. It’s hard sharing the loft. Disney was supposed to pay for something. But I guess it’s okay. I mean we’re living our dreams in California—of course it’s okay. It’s great.”
“You aren’t going to be living with your ‘aunt’ Kelly,” my mom dropped the bomb, “in California.”
“What?!” I fell of balance and fell off the rock, and almost hit the lake, until Kyle caught me.
“Gosh you’ve gotten clumsy,” Andrew teased.
“I think Aspasia is contagious,” Bri tried to lighten the mood. But I couldn’t help to see a three second smile on her face. Why was she happy I wasn’t living in California, where all my dreams and hopes lived?!

FantasyDon't read this please. I wrote it in the sixth grade when I had a band and was in LOVE with the Jonas Brothers. I just wanted it on my iPod so I could read these memories me and my best friend had writing together (:
