Jada Blue
Chapter Nine
“Dude! We just rocked it!” Cruise yelled.
“Like, better than last night?” I questioned, looking in the mirror and re-glossing my raspberry gloss.
“Way,” smiled Aspasia, doing the same as me, but her gloss was blueberry. Which was strange, because it’s usually the other way around. I looked down at the makeup table and saw liquid eyeliner and black shadow, and a whole bunch of bows. Me and Aspasia looked at each other, laughed, and switched tables.
“Then I guess tonight we’re going to do a encore,” I smiled again, fixing my hair.
I pulled out my iPod and gave one head phone to Aspasia. The song fell on Walking With a Ghost by Tegan and Sarah.
“I was walking with a ghost. I said ‘oooo please don’t exist’,”me and ‘Spasia sang together in sync.
We all chilled there for about an hour and a half. And I knew that Aspasia wanted it to be over, because of Michael. Was it kind of terrible to say that I didn’t want to do an encore? I didn’t want to mess up in front of my parents. Or Toe. Or Michael (he was my best friend, come on.). Or Chris. I mean, yeah he was Aspasia’s best friend. That didn’t mean he wasn’t cute!
“I look so fresh in my white girl sneakers. Look so clean in my white girl clothes,” Vince bumped his head to the beat of his iPod.
“You really have that song on your iPod,” I laughed. I should’ve been warming my voice down, though, not talking.
“You guys,” a petite girl with a blonde bob ran into the room, “they want you to do an encore.”
Aspasia gasped for air, only enough for me to hear it. And then I knew I had to tell her what Michael had said to Vince, even though I thought it was kind of something I wanted to be unsaid, “Dude. Michael said to Vince that he thinks you did super awesome and you look super awesome. There is nothing you can do to change his mind.”
“And Chris said you looked super fine,” she giggled. I replied with a eyebrow raise. She knew me way to well.
We all ran up to the stage again, just in time to hear Joe’s speech.
“This band is amazing, they get better and better every night,”
“Tonight,” Nick shouted.
“We want this band,” Kevin.
“To close us out,” Joe.
“Please welcome to the stage,” Kevin.
“RADIO PEACE,” they all shouted at one and ran off the stage, and at the same time, we all ran onto the stage. But this time, Nick gave me a high five on his way out. Gosh, was he dreamy or what?!
And then that was our time to shine!
And we rocked it even better then the night before! Way better!

FantasyDon't read this please. I wrote it in the sixth grade when I had a band and was in LOVE with the Jonas Brothers. I just wanted it on my iPod so I could read these memories me and my best friend had writing together (:
