Chapter Six

Jada Blue

When we got to the concert hall, where ever we were, I was ready. Nothing was going to hold us back. Not even wondering about Jonas, or worrying about Michael and Aspasia. We were going to do what we do best. Without a doubt and without a stutter.

When we got backstage, we changed into our concert clothes, which were the same for every show. I wore my dark purple skinny jeans; Aspasia wore her bright blue skinny jeans. I wore a black short sleeved shirt with a shiny gold lightning bolt and a neon tie; Aspasia wore a black peace t-shirt with a neon tie. I wore silver neon converse; Aspasia wore pro Keds candy series. The only thing we could change about our looks was our make-up and hair, but usually you could only have your hair look so good with certain clothes.

I had my long hair curled and highlighted with silver streaks. My eyes were lined with black liner and my eyes were covered with silver shadow. Aspasia had her scene hair down and strait, and wore silver eyeliner. All the guys wore button up shirts and cool neon ties with us. And skinny jeans. Can’t forget the skinny jeans.

“Bloooooooo!” shouted Cruise over all of us. We all looked over surprised. I started cracking up and choking on my water.

“Hey, hey, hey! Do not break her we need her for music!” Aspasia said in a stern voice. When we all looked at her afraid she cracked up and drank a full water bottle in seconds.

“Two minutes!” shouted Kelly from the hall way. We all leaned into a circle together and prayed. Then, after a minute of prayer, we all drank the remainder of our water bottles and ran out on the stage. It was…amazing. You can’t explain the feeling that you get when you’re up there on stage. A million people are looking up at you, screaming for you. The light is unbearable, even if it’s late at night. Everyone can see every bead of sweat rolling down your face. You can barely see them. All you can see is there neon glow in the dark necklaces, and their cell phones high in the air.

“That! Was! AWESOME!” yelled Castello as we ran backstage from our five songs set, opening for the Jonas Brothers.

“Dude,” Aspasia jumped on Vince’s back, “best show yet!”

We were all exhausted. I think we gave the most energy we possibly could up there. The fans were amazing, and in the front row, I was pretty sure I saw some girls that came to every concert. It was a thrill.

“Guys that was ah-mazing!” gushed Kelly as she tossed each and every one of us a water bottle. Aspasia, riding on Vince’s back, struggled to catch it without falling, so she tilted over a little and Vince almost crashed to the ground. We all had shiny sweaty faces and messed up frizzy hair. And at once, we all went to sit on the cement floor of the coliseum. I pulled out my purple iPod and handed Aspasia a head phone. Automatically, the song I Wish from the album “Punk Goes Crunk” came on.

“Thanks so much Kelly,” I smiled, “you know we could have never gotten here if it weren’t for you!”

“Do you know what I want right now,” said Cruise, looking at all of us, as soon as my aunt walked away with a contented smile.

“What?” Aspasia asked, barely paying any attention.

               “Taco Bell,”
