Muse A and Muse B have always competed: in high school debate, in college classes, or even running rival cafés on the same street.
When a big opportunity arises (a grant, a competition, a once-in-a-lifetime gig) they're both finalists. Forced to spend time together at the event, they start noticing little details: how Muse B bites their lip when nervous, how Muse A softens when no one's watching. The tension simmers into something much harder to ignore but who's willing to give up "winning" for the sake of falling in love?
