a) When muse a, a new student, reaches the front of the lunch line, they realize they don't have enough cash to buy their food. Before this can become apparent to anyone else in the cafeteria, muse b, an upperclassman, quickly offers to pay for both of their lunches.
b) When muse a misses the bus, they reluctantly turn to muse b, their crazy hot next door neighbor, for a ride to school. Before the lunch bell rings, rumors are flying about the two of them being a couple.
c) When muse a's cell phone battery dies, they resort to passing paper notes to muse b so they can continue an important conversation. Much to their displeasure, their teacher catches them and insists that muse b read the note in front of the class as punishment.
d) When muse a finds the locker they were assigned for the year, they discover that muse b, their sworn enemy since kindergarten, has mistakenly also been assigned to the same locker.
e) When muse a, a typically straight-edge student, is dragged to a party and has their first taste of alcohol, they end up needing muse b, a volunteer for the campus' designated driver service, to get them home safely. When muse bruns into muse a the next day, muse a is a bit embarrassed about their uncharacteristic behavior.
f) When muse a loses their scholarship (due to poor academic performance or a clerical error), they must rely on muse b, their roommate, for help with raising funds so they won't get kicked out of school.
g) When muse a retreats to the roof of their dormitory building to take refuge from a raging floor party, they encounter muse b who's also avoiding the festivities up there.
h) When muse a attends a club recruitment event on campus, they come face to face with muse b, their attractive RA, over the sign up sheet for a club thatmuse a would never think to join. Muse b's gorgeous smile and charming way with words sways muse a to put their name down.
i) When muse a, a star athlete in their senior year, gets injured during the first game of the season, their future in professional sports is jeopardized; muse amust lean on muse b, their significant other, for support as they try to recover from this frustrating setback.
j) When muse a shows up for their first day of work study program (at the campus cafe, library, computer lab, tutoring center, bookstore, etc.), they learn that muse b, the quiet loner who sits behind them in class, is their co-worker.
