If only Damian would do as he was told then Terry would not have been scheming behind his back right now. But Terry had things that she ought to do as his manager and that was exactly what she was going to do.
Oh, she did not suffer fools. No, she did not.
She did not suffer ungrateful people either.
Terry did not suffer people who could not set their priorities straight.
It seemed that Damian was straying from the path that she had diligently and painstakingly laid down before him. He had spoon-fed him and this was what he would do in return for all her hard-work? That would not do, not at all.
If not for her, he would still be a nameless actor doing extras in cheap films. If not for her, he would not be "Damian Williams." If not for her, he would not have lived long in this industry.

"Aimee," Terry greeted in her usual tone. "I was just about to call you."
The woman on the other line had greeted her in her usual lady-like and sophisticated way. Terry had felt deeply regretful when Aimee got married in her 20's when she was almost at the peak of her career. And it seemed that the talented lady was ready to make her comeback under the spotlight and Terry was quite willing to offer her a springboard if that would benefit her well-designed plans for Damian.
"I was thinking if you are interested in this project..."
To be continued....
