Tani's POV

AFTER 17 HOURS: Present.

I was panting heavily, there was a pin drop silence on the road, and I could even listen to my own heartbeat. Dark sky, cold wind, complete complete silence, the lights of the houses were off, a wave of shiver ran down my spine, thinking about thieves, murderers, kidnappers, all underworld residents, vampires, ghosts, witches who came out from their shells at night to hunt cause there was darkness far far away, and no one could catch them in this darkness, suddenly the lines from poem by James McGranahan came into my mind.

Far, far away in heathen darkness dwelling,

Millions of souls forever may be lost;

I shuddered at the thought in my mind. I quickly checked time on my wrist watch. It was almost 1:00 AM. I looked over to my friends, who were with me, they were also trying to catch their breaths. Seeing them terrified and perplexed, I couldn't stop myself and started laughing--- laughing so badly. My all friends gave me those questioning looks as if they were asking me 'why I was laughing' and I just shook my head, one of my friend started,

"How can you laugh after that horrible scene, that we all faced? We could have died."

Suddenly that memory flashed before my eyes and I became serious, I know, what had happened today in our lives was the memorable and the most horrible thing ever. This was the horrible day of our lives.

But why? Okay, let me rewind the whole day,

BEFORE 17 HOURS: Past.

Somy's POV

She is acting so weird, she was never like this before. I am now getting worried. Should I ask her? No, she would never tell me if it's that much serious thing for her. What should I do then? I think, I should check her cell phone. I thought and started searching for her mobile, I found it at the side table, I quickly launched myself towards it, grabbed it and scrolled it up and down, up and down, searching every bit to find her problem that what she was so worried about. But I found nothing---literally nothing. 

Now what to do, 

Only one thing came to my mind and I searched that contact in her phone book and called that one person I know, who can ask her and solve her problem. So I called that person and after that call I deleted that number from her call log and quickly placed her mobile where it was before and went to wake her up and told her to get ready for where we were headed to.
