It was the 21st death anniversary of Rajveer's parents a day that never failed to bring storms back into his life. No matter how many years passed, the pain of that night remained etched deep within him, like a scar that refused to heal.

As always, this day was traumatic. It wasn't just grief that visited Rajveer it was something darker, something far more haunting Every year, as this day approached, he would see the same disturbing dreams, almost like hallucinations When he was a child, these dreams used to grip him tightly for two to three years straight, making every night a nightmare but what were those dreams?

Let's go back to his past

Rajveer was just eight when the world around him collapsed. The sudden loss of his parents had shaken him completely. A boy who once wore a charming smile, always lighting up every room he entered, suddenly became unrecognizable. That cheerful face faded into silence. He stopped talking. He locked himself away from the world. He started having disturbing, violent thoughts—thoughts no child should ever have.

Why did this happen?

Because every night after their death, he would dream the same horror, over and over. In those dreams, he was back in his childhood room. Same bed, same sheets. His parents were sitting beside him, discussing something in low voices. But then... the door creaked. A shadow entered. He could never see the face clearly it was always blurred.

That figure then did the unthinkable....First his father then his mother. It killed them in the most brutal way possible cutting their faces, then arms, then legs, even fingers, one by one...He would be tied to the bed, helpless... Their mutilated body parts were kept right in front of him And then, the room would be flooded with red light, a blood-red glow.

The bodies... they would move.

"Why didn't you help us, son?"
"You watched us getting killed."
"You slept in front of our dead body parts."

The worst part? Those severed fingers would crawl toward him, reaching his face and slide into his eyes, almost popping his eyeballs out And just then, he'd wake up sweaty, shaking, and gasping for breath.

This morning was no different today!

Rajveer woke up from that same nightmare...His body drenched in sweat, his hands trembling Aaradhya, who was already beside him, noticed his panicked face..He was murmuring in his sleep—"maine nhi kiya... maine nhi kiya..."

Startled, she immediately held his hand.He woke up and saw her without saying a word, he hugged her tightly..She gently patted his shoulder. He looked different today not like the usual strong and calm Rajveer, but like a broken man ,Vulnerable. Lost.

"Aap thik hai? Koi bura sapna tha kya?" she asked gently.

Rajveer didn't reply he thought about today's pooja for his parents he didn't want to tell her the truth about his dremas atleast not today not when those dreams had returned after years.
