The hospital corridor buzzed with activity, but to Aaradhya, everything felt muted, distant, as if the world around her was moving in slow motion. Sitting on the cold metal bench, her hands trembled, her heart heavy with worry. She hadn’t imagined that a day meant for celebrations would turn into this.

Rajveer, standing close by, noticed her distress He couldn’t bear to see her like this. Slowly he walked up to her and without a word he pulled her into a gentle embrace, her head resting against his chest.

“Agar tum rone lagogi toh mujhe accha nahi lagega, please don’t cry Aaradhya,” he whispered, his voice filled with concern as his hand softly stroked her hair.

Aaradhya’s breath hitched and for a moment, she wanted to give in to the comfort of his embrace, but her mind was elsewhere—on Kavya, who was inside the hospital room.

Meanwhile, just a few feet away Purvi and Meera stood talking in hushed voices. They weren't particularly close to Kavya, but seeing her faint so suddenly had shaken them both Despite the constant squabbles and disagreements they had with her, they were genuinely worried now.

“Do you think Kavya has any serious health issues?” Meera asked, her face creased with concern as she glanced toward Aaradhya.

Aaradhya, overhearing the conversation, wiped the unshed tears from her eyes and tried to compose herself. “Nahi, aisa kuch toh nahi hai,” she replied in a shaky voice but her words didn’t convince anyone, least of all herself.

Karthik, who had been pacing nervously, suddenly stopped in front of Aaradhya. His face was filled with worry as he crouched down next to her and grabbed her hands gently. “Bhabhi, kuch toh pata hoga aapko? Kavya ko kabhi koi health issue raha hai?” His voice was almost pleading.

Aaradhya, still reeling from the shock of seeing her best friend collapse, shook her head slowly. “Main bachpan se jaanti hoon Kavya ko, we’re childhood besties… Agar kuch serious hota, mujhe zaroor pata hota… This is the first time she’s fainted.” Her voice trembled as she struggled to hold back tears.

Rajveer who had been standing silently beside them took a step forward his protective instincts kicking in. His eyes locked with Karthik’s as he spoke, his tone firm and slightly sharp. “She’s already stressed out, tum log questions band karoge?”

The tension between Karthik and Rajveer was palpable, and it seemed like a heated argument was about to erupt when the doctor finally emerged from Kavya’s room. All eyes turned to him instantly, the air thick with anticipation.

Karthik was the first to rush toward the doctor, his voice panicked. “Doctor! Dr. kaisi hai Kavya? She’s fine, right?”

The doctor raised his hand, signaling for them to calm down. “Calm down calm down. Don’t worry, she’s fine.”

Aaradhya felt a wave of relief wash over her, but her worry hadn’t completely faded. “Then why did she faint? She’s really fine na?” she asked, her voice laced with anxiety.

The doctor nodded, reassuring them. “She has hypoglycemia, which means her blood sugar levels were low. This could have happened due to stress, skipping meals, or overexertion. It’s not life-threatening, but it is something she needs to take care of Proper meals, less stress and no overexertion are important.”
