There he is, so close but yet so far. I stare into his ocean blue eyes like we're the only 2 people in the world. My god, Brian. How I love him so much. He's getting closer, now I'm in his arms and there's no place I'd rather be.

My phone goes off and wakes me from my Amazing dream.

*Darling, I will be loving you till were seventy, and baby my heart could still love as hard as 23*

Ughh

I turned over to look at my clock.

2:23 in the morning really! This better be important.

I pick up my phone and look at the caller ID, It's Ms Williams, Brian's mom. I answer immediately.

"Hello.?" I said trying to sound awake.

"Ashley.? Sweetheart something horrible has happened, Brian's in the hospital" she sobs.

It felt like something inside of me broke, someone ripped my heart out. I broke out into tears and placed my hand on my mouth.

"Oh my God, is he okay.?" My voice breaks out

"the doctors say they're gonna do the best they can, but they don't know if he will make it" she cries.

I know every time a doctor says that, its going to be a huge chance they won't make it "I'm on my way".

I walk though the automatic doors that read emergency, and I instantly see Ms. Williams. That breaks my heart even more, she's always been so strong, looked so strong, no matter what happened even when her husband died but now she looks like if I touch her she'll break, so pale and fragile. Tears begin to fall down once again. Nothing could've prepared me for what was about to come... And by the distraught look on her face I can already tell that he is no longer with us.
I go and sit down next to her and we just hug and cry.
"Can we see him! He's okay right.?"

"He's gone..."
