Chapter 5: Guys

Walking into the school I went straight to my locker. Rose is walking towards me.

"Rose what's up with Jake.?" I asked

"He went to live with his mom for this school year. He said he'll be back to visit us sometime" I was looking dumbfounded, like huhh they just failed to inform me of that. Some best friend. Huh. Well some best friend I am, I just noticed it.

Me and rose was walking to class as I told her everything that happened yesterday.

"Hey babe" a familiar voice said.

I kept walking ,cause he sure as hell wasn't talking to me.

"Ashley" he said...dammit, I turned around.

"That's my name don't wear it out " I said being funny "Ashton what do you want. We're over. Remember.? Well I do"I rolled my eyes and continued walking.

"Are you still mad, baby we can make It pass this and you know it " he said sounding stupid as fuck.

"I've came to realize that you don't love me, if you did you wouldn't do the things you do to me. I deserve better than You and we both know it." I said feeling great for letting that out.

His eyes darkened "You stupid bitch, after all the shit I've done for you, I practicality gave you life, You're my girl and no one else is gonna have you if I can't so you might as well suck it up" he screamed.

I stood there shocked at first. Me and rose have each other looks and we both burst out laughing "see you later psycho". I laughed but with all honestly that hurt.

School was the norm. Going through my AP classes are easy for me. Focus on education if nothing else. If you wanna be Somebody, if you wanna go somewhere you better wake up and pay attention. At lunch time I walked to go sit at my usual table but then I catch a glimpse of jayden sitting at a table by himself. I changed my direction and started walking over there . Keep your cool Ashley.

He looked up and saw Me standing there

"Hey stranger" I said sounding as friendly as I possibly could "You okay.?" I asked sitting down.

He looked down at his phone "I gotta go, I'll be back before school let's out to take you home since your car's not here"

What is up with guys in this school. Do they not have feelings? Like what the actual fuck is going on

I continued walking and went into the bathroom, I could see rose trailing behind me. Breath Ashley.

"What happened.?! Everything was great yesterday " rose said confused. This sucks. I really want to cry, but I'm not gonna be weak.

Breath "with all honestly I don't even know what happened but, I don't have time for this either" "Can we just go to class.?"

I looked over at the mirror to look at myself and I really don't like what I see. I'm looking weary.

We walked to class silently, This is my last class today no worries.
I noticed that jayden didn't come to class but who cares. I mean I shouldn't care, but you know, what if something's wrong.

"Ashley are you paying attention.?"Mr Richardson asked looking at me.

"Yes sir" even though we both knew I wasn't
