My heart hurts. Time seems to be going by fast. Much too fast. Each day that passes it's another day closer to me and Tyler's wedding. I feel like there's hardly anyone for me to express myself to. I feel alone. My parents are ruining my life, I never seem to be able to see Daniel, I feel distant from Fatimah and perhaps even jealous and it's been weeks now since I last saw Finley.

I guess I still have God... right?

Right?

I'm at home, cooking dinner. I season the chicken before I let it sizzle inside the pan, drowned in oil. That's how Tyler likes it. I stare at it, as the meat slowly turns into a soft shade of brown, a grim expression on my face.

I hear the sound of the door and footsteps. Tyler walks in with a bag in his hands. He brushes back his golden hair before he starts to unpack the groceries from inside the plastic bag.

"I got what you wanted," he says.

I look up to see him smiling and holding out to me my favorite cereal. I can't help but smile.

"Thanks."

"Anything for my girl," he says and brings his face close to mine. His are just about to touch mine, before I pull away.

He scowls and dumps the cereal box onto the counter before walking away angrily while growling under his breath. He enters his room to change and comes out a few seconds later with a bare torso.

"When's dinner going to be ready," he asks harshly while fumbling with the zipper of his trousers.

"In a while," I reply heavily, "And please change elsewhere. No one wants to see you stripping - it's gross."

I heard him grunt as he returned to his room and I sigh in relief. I lied; it wasn't gross at all. I felt uncomfortable looking at his unclothed, well built chest. And it wasn't right.

He comes back fully clothed and starts setting the table with plates.

Tyler stares at me, waiting patiently for the food to be prepared, eyeing me as I toss the chicken into a plate.

"Here you go," i say as I slide some from the pan and into his plate. i settle downona chair and beginto eat.

I pick up the the fork and am about to put a piece of chicken inmy mouth. But I stop.

His eyes are scaring me.

His two pair of deep set eyes are eyeing me. They are screaming something that I don't know. But whatever it is... It's killing me.

"Our wedding's soon."

I look up from my food and onto his face. His gorgeous face, with a satanic expression that I cant read; its like looking into the eyes of a mad man.

Is Tyler mad?

Like a psychopath?

"Tyler," I mutter as he looks at me with those eyes.

His lips slide into a smirk. "Soon you'll be mine and there's nothing you could do about it.

"You're crazy... There's something wrong with you. You need serious help."

SMACK.

Something hard hit my cheek, leaving a burning sensation. I bend over, clutching the effected area.

"T-Tyler.." I cough.

"Repeat what you said," he sneers.

Angrily I grind my teeth and clench my fists. I prepare myself and swiftly throw my fist into the air, aiming at his jaw.

"YOU'RE FUCKING CRAZ-"

I stop mid action. My hand is stopped. I look up to see that Tyler grasped my fist, stopping me before I manage to hit his face.

"Think you're stronger than me, don't you?"

His voice is mocking but dangerous. I look up at him and notice something in his eyes. Immediately I am afraid. Before I even try to stumble away from him, his other fist comes striking into my gut, knocking the breath out of me. Immediately I come tumbling towards the ground, my body hitting hard on the surface.

Tyler towers above me, his lips curled into a sadistic smile. He bends down and squats so that he is level with me and looks me in the eyes, enjoying the fact that I am lying here pathetically.

He tears my scarf off of my head and flings it behind him. I want to scream, but I can't. There is no breath inside of me.

"How does it feel," he says as he grips onto my hair, pulling my head off the ground, "honey?"

Tears fall down my face and I gasp for air so I can scream. He pulls harder and starts to tug my head up. Like a cat drowning in water, I claw at him, trying to escape. He just pulls me higher and higher, until my whole body is hanging just from my hair. It hurts like Satan himself.

After an eternity, my body falls to the ground with a loud thud. I squirm on the floor like a pathetic bug. I hear a faint laughter. My body is lifted into the air by a rough hand grabbing the collar of my shirt. I pant hard and squint my eyes as I try to make out what is the dark, fuzzy figure in front of me. A flash of a white grinning smile is all I make out, and I faintly hear the words that come out of them.

"What did you say I was? Is Daniel still better than me?"

"He.... Will...." I say between heavy breaths, "Always...BE BETTER THAN A SCUM LIKE YOU!"

Sadistic laughter, then a sudden growl and my body crashes back down on the floor and a foot hits me in the chest. Pressing down, choking all air out of me.

"We'll see."

He starts to unfasten his belt. I gasp. He lifts his hand up into the air. I i bring my hands up in my face, a weak attempt of a shield. Theres a loud cry as he the leather shoots down onto me.
