*Adelie's POV*

A tech banged on my door and shouted something about breakfast in thirty minutes. I mumbled, "Okay." and lied there, listening to my roommate snore. Her snore wasn't really an annoying snore. More like a snore that was soft and sweet. Kind of like a slow bumblebee buzz. Why was I even observing her snore?

I dragged myself out of bed and got ready. I brushed my teeth and hair, made my bed, and walked over to Delilah.

"Hey," I nudged her softly. "It's time to get up...we have to line up any minute now.

She rolled over and her hazel eyes cracked open. She looked confused...like a lost puppy.

"What...you're...um, hey."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing...just a dream." She said, rubbing her eyes and getting out of bed.

"You okay?" I asked, genuinely worried.

"Yeah...I'm fine." She gave a phony smile and continued to get ready.

"No, something's wrong."

"You don't know me. Maybe I always act like this."

"I know you well enough to know that you don't."

"Whatever," She said in a calm voice, but I guess that's always how her voice was...soft and dazed.

She walked out and lined up on the wall to be paraded to the cafeteria with the rest of the patients. I followed her, trying to comprehend what just happened.

After eating soggy cereal and school-quality toast, we have to go to the community group...ugh.

We discuss some things and set our goals while some girl blubbers some inaudible things. Someone always cries like this. I get to use the phone...will I call my mom or Kellin...why is this decision so hard? Okay, I'll call my mom and if I still have time, I'll call Kellin. I thought to myself.

The phone rang briefly and I heard my mom's excited voice. "Hey, honey! Are you okay? Are you having fun? Well, probably not-" She was talking quickly, so I cut her off.

"Mom, I'm fine! I feel safer here...I can't really hurt myself, so that's good."

"I miss you so much, baby."

"I'll be out in two months. It'll go by in a breeze, you'll see." I said in a reassuring voice.

"Oh, but I already miss you so much."

"It'll be fine, but I have to go. I promise to call you tomorrow. I love you, bye!"

"Bye, Addie...I love you too." She sounded sad. I hung up and called Kellin. It rang longer than my mom's phone had.

Finally, Kellin answered with a groggy, "Hello?"

"Hey, Kel...it's Adelie."

"Oh, hey. Who's phone are you using?"

"It's not reallyimportant, but, um...I won't really be home for the next two months."

"Uh...why?" Kellin sounded confused, which I'm sure he was.

"I asked my mom to send me somewhere, so I'd feel...y'know, safer."

"I'm still not getting it."

"I'm in a mental hospital...um...I'll talk to you tomorrow maybe. My ten minutes for using the phone is up. I'll call you tomorrow or maybe on Sunday."

"Ooookay...um, bye."

"Buh-bye." I managed and then quickly hung up the phone. I knew there was really no hope in this relationship...I mean, come on, who couldn't fall in love with him?

*Vic's POV*

Kellin put his phone back in his pocket and looked up at me. I held his gaze for a long while. I held his gaze like it was the first time I had ever seen the blue of the sky...the green of the grass...the bark of old oak trees. All mixed in a pair of eyes. They were astonishing, really.

"Ooh hoo hoo," I heard Jaime, and my head snapped up. "What's goin on with you guys?" He asked with a tone that implied way too many things.

"N-Nothing." Kellin replied quickly, his body tensing up. I just looked at Jaime's partially knowing smirk.

"You don't have to hide this from me, guys. It's cool. I know what's going on. Ha, I knew even before you guys did. You can see it in the eyesssss." He added a joking tone to the last sentence to lighten the mood.

"Okay, jaime. You've had your fun. Just don't tell anyone yet. We're not sure if people are ready for all this sexy." I winked and made a hand gesture towards Kellin.

"Whatever, dudes," He said and proceeded to walk away.

Kellin's body got comfortable against mine once again and I thought about how he tensed up for a few seconds.

"What was that all about?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"What was what all about?"

"You got all, I dont know, stiff."

"Oh...I don't know."

"Are you..are you not comfortable with people knowing about us?"

"No, No, Vic. I am. It's cool. I just...don't know. I felt jealous of Jaime."

"Jealous? Why?"

"'Cause...you guys get to go on tour, and I won't get to see you, but Jaime and the other guys will."

"It's okay, Kellin. Think of it this way, I'm gonna miss you too, but I know your band mates will take care of you."

"You sure?"

"No, actually. They're kind of like annoying little brothers to you." I joked and we both laughed.

"I love them though. Just like brothers....Vic?"

"Yeah, Kel?"

"I don't know if I can make it through the summer without you."

"It'll be alright." I said, kissing his forehead.

"Okay..." Kellin said and I soon found us cuddled together on the couch, fast asleep.

*Adelie's POV*

Four pm strikes the clock and my spirits are lifted. Visitation hour! Mom said she'd visit me a lot, if not every day.

The tech tells me I have a vistior. It's not my mom though...

Ooohhhh...who could it be? Anyways, I'll update soon, I hope. Sorry for the cliffhanger. I still love you. ;-; Okays, well enjoy, little darlings.
