Back to School

I frown and look at Zeke who is smiling and talking with his friends. He was leaning aganist his locker with one foot on the locker the other placed firmly on the floor with his arms crossed. I try and mimic him but end up falling and him catching me. A small innocent smile creeps up on my face when I look into his eyes and it seems like time is just slowing down for us. We are pulled out of our trance when Four coughs loudly. Zeke pulls me up with him and holds on to me. 

"So we need to be back at school at 5:30 because I tuning session is at 5:45." Four stated

"EEK!" Chris screeched, which caused Lynn and I to hold our ears in pain while Shauna and Marlene seemed unfazed. "We have to go shopping and everything." She looked at her phone as her eyes widened in horror.

"What is it Chris?" Marlene asked concerned.

"It is 2:30, we need to leave right now or we won't have enough time to get ready!"

"I think I am good I just got back to school and don't think I should ditch cermaics maybe I will catch up with you for free period?" I asked.

"Don't bother Freak." Four said laughing and nudging Uriah, trying to get a reaction from him, but all he got was everyone shaking their heads at him. I mean what is his deal anyway treating someone like that.

"Hey what's your deal anyway! What did I ever do to you hmm?" I said pushing Zeke's arms away from my waist. 

"What I mean I don't want you in our group, all you do is try and seek attention from everyone. Oh look at me my name is Tris no one look at me, I am not going to get close to anyone besides Uriah, Zeke and Lynn but everyone should pay attention to me. I mean why else would I disappear for two weeks?"

Tears brimmed my eyes but I blinked them away. "Want to know why I was gone?" 

"Tris you don't have to prove anything okay? You owe nothing to him, he is just being a jerk."

"No Zeke I am sick of tired of getting crap from him its time I stand up for myself."

Zeke protectively wrapped his arm around my waist and let me carry on. "I was brutatly abused by my father your wonderful Mayor. Z called the police and when they came he had a gun to my head. They shot him dead, I had been being abused by him for 7 years, it started when  I was 9. Then when I turned 12 I started cutting," I rolled up my sleeves and showed him my scars. His eyes wide in shock "I have been seeing a theaprist and practiclly stopped eating. Okay? Now if I was seeking attention don't you think I would have waited until now to say something? Excatly!' Just then the bell rang and I walked  away to class. 

Zeke followed me and grabbed my hand smiling. He sighed, looked down at me and looked down then dragged me into the janitor's closet. 

"Zeke what are you-" I was  enveloped in a kiss that sent tingles down my spine and into my toes as cheesey as it sounds it was true. I blushed like crazy and kissed back wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling myself deeper into a kiss. Zeke moaned into the kiss wrapped his arms around my waist tighter than what they were already. 

All of a sudden, the door swung open to revealed an annoyed Janitor and a wet mop that smelled like days old vomit. "Seriously everytime I open this door some horny teens are getting hot and steamy in my office. I am pretty sure the English department doesn't have to deal with this." He put away the smelly mop and walked away. Zeke and I broke into instant laughter. 

We snuck out of the closet and went to our last classes. I curled up into Zeke's arm as we watched We Bare Bears  on kisscartoon.com it was hilarious. Soon though the last bell went off signaling the end of school day. Zeke and I went to the hangout nook were we were to meet the rest of the gang soon, at least the guys. It was really cool I mean it was under a staircase that was in a half-abandoned part of the school were only the stupid kids went, so my classes. Zeke and I sat in a comfortable silence until he pulled me into a soft kiss that only lasted for a minute before Zeke pulled away.
