Gary and I got back to my house, we were both exhausted. Gary asked if he could stay the night. Why would I ever turn Gary down? I would spend every night with him if I could. We didn't stay up all night having sex like we usually did. Gary was stuffed from the food we'd eaten at SOS and he was already satisfied from the little treat I gave him earlier on that evening. Gary made us both a cup of tea and we sat up in bed chatting away until we fell asleep in each other's arms. I woke up in the morning and looked at my alarm clock. "Shit, it's 9.30am. I'm late for work." I jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. I've never done this before. Dave's going to murder me. I walked over to the sink and started brushing my teeth. I looked up to see a piece of paper stuck to the mirror with sellotape. Did Gary go rummaging through my drawers for this stuff? I don't even know where I keep them. I squinted my eyes to read what was written:

Morning beautiful! :) Don't panic, I phoned in sick for you. You can thank me later.

P.S. You look cute sleeping, I hope you're dreaming of me. xxx

I spat out the toothpaste from my mouth and rinsed it out. Why is Gary phoning in sick for me? Does he realise the grief I'm going to get from my boss when I get back to the office? And where the hell is he? I had woken up to an empty bed but was too alarmed to realise. I walked downstairs in my PJ top and shorts. I looked out of the kitchen window and there was Gary, doing laps in my garden wearing just his boxers. I could see the sweat glistening on his body as the morning sun shone on him, his cheeks were flushed a little. I was annoyed with Gary but I'd temporarily forgotten seeing such a gorgeous sight. I didn't think he could get any hotter. Gary drives me crazy by the simplest of things. His biceps, abs and legs looked tighter than usual as he ran up and down my garden. Is he not worried the neighbours will see? I guess not, with a body like that! I didn't feel hungry, my stomach still felt full from our meal yesterday evening. I switched on the kettle and looked out of the window to admire my boyfriend. After a while, he lay on the grass and started doing some sit ups. I could imagine the taste of the fresh sweat that was dripping off his body, there was something so potent about the smell of fresh sweat on someone you're attracted to. It must be the pheromones, like Charlotte said. After a few moments, Gary got up from the grass and made his way over the lawn and returned to the house. I pretended to busy myself, I didn't want him to catch me admiring him. The kettle had boiled already so I poured the hot water into my mug. Gary stepped in, "Oh, morning beautiful. I didn't want to wake you." I didn't look at him, I'd just collapse into a gooey mess on the kitchen floor if I did. "I wish you did wake me up Gary. I'm going to get in so much trouble on Monday." "So you got my message?" "Yes I did. And quite frankly, I don't like you making decisions for me. I'm a grown woman." I could see from the corner of my eye that his smile started to turn upside down. I sighed as I looked over at him, his body was glistening from the sweat, his biceps looked shapely as he stood there with his hands on his hips. His pecs, oh his pecs! Let's not go there. He looks too hot to handle. He stared back at me, his eyebrows furrowed, "I thought you'd be glad." My thoughts were conflicted, how can I be mad at him but think he's both cute and sexy at the same time? Gary is messing with my head! I couldn't bear it, he looked disheartened. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his torso, I could feel the cold sweat on his body stick to my skin. I looked up at his bright green eyes that were full of disappointment, "I'm sorry Gary. I had a bit of a shock waking up this morning. I know you had good intentions. I just don't know what I'll have to deal with when I get back to work on Monday." He licked his lips, "I thought you'd like the idea of spending the day with me?" "Of course, but I have responsibilities too. Anyway, what's done is done now." I kissed his cheek, "So what did Dave have to say?" "Nothing. He sounded okay. I told him you had food poisoning." "Food poisoning?" I shook my head, that's the oldest excuse for a sick day. "I'll have to remember that one. Did you tell him who you were?" I asked. "No, but I did tell him I was your boyfriend and that you'd been sick all night." Gary wasn't aware that Dave had seen the photo from Mark's party and would've put two and two together. "Why do you look so worried?" Gary asked with concern on his face. "No, nothing." He held me tighter to him. "Good run this morning?" He laughed smugly, "Yep, good old morning run. I need to keep myself in shape. The band are supposed to be on a diet. Run up to the tour, you know. Plus, I had to work off that meal from last night." I nodded and pulled myself back from his embrace, I placed my hands on his chest. I ran my hands all around his body. "You did look pretty hot out there Gary." I said coyly. "Oh, you were peeking?" He said with a slight grin. "How could I not? My eyes were falling out of my head." I laughed. "Did it make you wet?" Gary laughed mischievously as his hand ran between my legs. I slapped his arm away, "Gary!" "I know, I know. We both need to get washed first." He laughed loudly, his mouth wide open. I slapped his arm playfully. Gary made his way upstairs, "Right, you finish your cuppa and I'll run us a bath."
