The weekend was exactly what we needed. Gary needed to wind down and I certainly needed to chill out. The tour was a whirlwind of craziness. Drama followed at every turn. We'd spent our time tanning on the beach, swimming in the sea, cooking together and falling asleep in each other's arms. Monday afternoon, our getaway had finally ended and we made our way back home. I wish we could do this forever. Just us. Away from the world. Gary stayed at mine on Monday night and dropped me off at work Tuesday morning. I knew I'd start missing him rather rapidly. I craved him.

"Morning Natasha." Dave greeted me in a jolly manner as I walked into the office. "Morning." I replied with a blank expression on my face as I headed towards my desk. "Tasha!" I heard Elizabeth from the other end of the office. She scurried over to my desk, "Where were you yesterday?" She asked, "Away with Gary?" "Something like that." I answered in a nonchalant manner. "Go on, spill!" She urged. "I've just had the most relaxing break with Gary on the Devonshire coast. It certainly wasn't long enough." I sighed. I didn't want to be back at work that was for sure. "You should hand in your resignation. There's no need for you to still be working in this place. Only to update me on all your moments with Gary, of course." I smirked as I rolled my eyes. "No, I want to work. I don't want to give up my entire life for him." I said defiantly. "Give it a bit of time and you'll throw in the towel. I think you'll be with Gary for a while yet." She said enthusiastically. "Just don't forget about me when you do." She gave me a squeeze before walking back to her desk. Elizabeth meant well but her pushy nature was rather trying at times.

I got back home after work and lay on the sofa. I picked up the phone and called Charlotte. No answer. I sent a message to the girls to let them know I was back. I dozed off for an hour or so. I checked my phone when I awoke. No one has read my message? I wondered if  our lives were changing. Zoe was in Dubai with Howard, Victoria would be spending a lengthy time out in Las Vegas with Rob for his residency and Sophia seemed so settled with Jason. The only person I could rely on right now was Charlotte and even she was too busy to respond to me. Charlotte and Mark are probably at it like rabbits right now.

I made myself something to eat and went straight to bed. This is not what I expected. I didn't expect to get back to my routine and feel as empty as this. Tour blues? I'm not so sure it's that simple.

Before I drifted off, I received a text from Gary:

Gary: I'm missing you like crazy.

Natasha: Me too. So lonely here. I've contacted the girls but they're all busy.

Gary: Aww beautiful. You should just come and stay with me!

Natasha: I don't want you getting bored of me.

Gary: Don't be silly. That'll never happen! Come over.

Natasha: Nah, I don't want to cramp your style. Besides, I'm sure you're busy moving on to the next project.

Gary: This is true. I'm currently working on something.

Natasha: See! Married to the work.

Gary: For now yes... ;) Anyway, if you're not coming over then I'll let you go. Speak soon beautiful. x

And that was that.
